Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Arctic travel! I live in Edmonton and have lots of icy sidewalks around my home. These work really well. I travelled to Iceland in the winter and wore these over my boots. Did not slip on the ice even once when everyone around me was falling on the ground. I was very impressed with the traction they gave me, but I recommend attaching a tie from the arch of the foot to the outside so they don't slip off.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does Not Stay On Fell off on my walk somewhere on my walk the first time I wore them. Did not notice until I looked at my feet when I was slipping a bit more. They worked well when I had them. Would not recommend because of how easily they fell off. They were fitted to my boot by a Mark's customer service person and seem to be the best size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a number one recommended product I walk daily at a minimum of three miles per day. I bought a pair of the Stable Icers after I wore out three consecutive pairs of the wire coil type in one season. The Stable Icers have lasted for over 1 year now. I highly recommend them to anyone who walks on slippery ice surfaces. Anyone can walk securely and safely on all ice coated surfaces.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dog walkers favorite if you walk in snow or on ice frequently, as I do daily with my English Bulldog, I found these provide the best grip under all conditions, and certainly better than the cheaper ones - a good investment, but don't be surprised if you go through at least 2 or 3 pairs each season - the studs wear down, regardless what brand you purchase.
