Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable but water resistant not proof! I love these boots and have used them throughout the winter. Will keep you warm with a good pair of socks till about -20°C. The only issue with the item is the front mesh is not very waterproof. I went for a short hike where conditions were a little wet and my toes got wet but not completely soaked, which makes me believe that the mesh is water resistant but not completely water proof. All in all a decent buy but don't expect to go swimming in these.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent hiker I wanted a light weight winter shoe with good traction and comfortable. I have high arches so this was okay but not perfect. Awesome for a narrow foot. I hate when heels slip at the back. This was a good fit. The waterproof claim, well, maybe water resistant. You want waterproof you're looking at Gortex for $300 or rubber boots for $29.99. After I bought them I sprayed them with some waterproofing. Should last me 2 or 3 winters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value I bought these the day before a trip to Fundy National Park when I realized I didn't have proper footwear for the 2-3 long hikes we were planning. The first hike was a quick but challenging 2 hour and these boots felt great immediately. Great ankle support and very light weight. Second hike was double the length and much more challenging with the rain coming down and the boots held up perfectly to the water. I can't comment on a multi day hike in extreme wet conditions but my feeling is any boot is going to have issues in that situation. At 40% off I feel I got a great deal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY! These are fine....until you need them to be "waterproof", then they are useless!
