Women's 8" Mackenzie Steel Toe Composite Plate Work Boots is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best boots I've had. I bought these boots just about a year and a half ago and both sides on one boot ripped and one side of the other ripped just after the 90 days. They WERE comfortable for the first couple months and now I'd rather walk around in bare feet than wear them. At the end of a 13 hour day my feet are killing me and I've gotten one of the worst blisters I've ever had from the heel of the boot, even when I wear thick socks. Due to the the two rips on the one boot it won't stay tightened up for more than a few minutes after walking. I'm not turned off from the Dakota brand, however these boots were underwhelming for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from comfortable but not durable I exchanged these boots for another identical pair because after 5 days of wear(I am a gardener so they get worn outdoors) the entire top of the toe of the right boot split open. Exchange was processed without issue. 20 days late(maybe 15 days of wear) and the front of the sole split at the seam on the right boot. In comparison, I wore a pair of Kodiak steel toed boots all summer for the exact same type of work in 2016 and only the heel wore out. While I find these boots more comfortable than the Kodiaks and keep my feet reasonably dry, they are not durable enough for working outdoors in various types of weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Value! Durable boot! I own a pair of 6" Dakota Mackenzies (3 years old) and now found the 8" and couldnt be more satisfied, my one and only complaint is minor considering I work on a farm and wash equipment with pressure washer so that get quite wet, the tongue of the boot is cloth so water can seep in easily. On plus side they are amazingly durable and comfortable (even for my wide feet) the sole of my previous pair has barely any wear to it, the tmax is cozy but doesn't get hot and the ankle support you get with the 8" is a major plus! honestly after 3 years of my other boots they even have the original laces, hands down best boot for the price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST BOOTS I'VE OWNED I bought these boots 2 yrs ago and love them, I wore them 5 or 6 days a week, just lately the hemming on the right heel has gave way, the soles are still in great shape, even still have the original laces! I'm buying another pair!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Uncomfortable Boots were shipped to me in a broken box and they are uncomfortable. Very disappointing considering I have owned and used a number of pairs of boots of this brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really comfortable Bought these for cutting and splitting firewood a few weeks ago and they are awesome - no rubbing or sore spots

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wouldn't buy them again. These were my first pair of work boots. I've had them for just over 2 years. I had to replace the laces. It took a long time to break them in. After a while the stitching came apart on one of the heals. No matter how much I wear them my feet are always sore by the end of the day. Not breathable and the soles and toes wore down quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome - best pair of working boots i ever had Over 5 years of use. would buy another one in the blink of an eye. Moved to Brazil brought them over. As I work in trades, brought them with me. There is no other to purchase here that compares to this one.
