Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable Boot I bought this boot a couple months ago, I wore it in around town and then took it out to the mountains. I did a 20km hike in this in a variety of terrain, a riverbed with rocks and a lot of jumping, a rock face with basically straight incline up a rock face and an easy walker to a waterfall. The entire day my feet stayed comforatable and dry, even through the couple splashes in the riverbed. The boots have great traction, very light, comforatable, durable and waterproof. The only minor downside is that my feet were quite hot hiking out in the sun. My solution was that once I got back to the car I would put my sandals on and I would be fine. Having hot feet only impacted me for about an hour, other than that I was fine

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor Comfort As the other posters review mentioned, there is a serious flaw with this boot. The back of your heel will go raw after wearing these for a short period of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good work boots, very comfortable. I bought these for work as my feet don't like steel toe and sole work boots. I find hikers work best for the amount of walking I do during the day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boot, but serious flaw that must be addressed I've done two major ascents in this boot, both over 1000m elevation. This boot is waterproof and very light. The Achilles heel of this boot is this: there is a stitching in the heel of the boot that causes a great amount friction while climbing. This boot needs an overhaul or careful modification. I will try moleskin on the boot side. I got this for $75 on sale, so it's my fault for being a miser. If you can figure out how to keep your heel from turning into hamburger it is a great great find. If not, it's not so amazing just buy something better. That being said, I think I can come up with a good solution for under $100.
