Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boot but not without cons I bought these boots around 15 months ago. I like them but they are not perfect. Its a wide boot. Which is both great and not great. When I drive my truck which is a speed manual no issues however my car which is a manual also my foot gets caught all over the place. They claim it's waterproof but my feet get wet. Other reviews claim they're waterproof maybe a defective boot in some way I don't know but my boots will give you wet feet. Comfortable yes. On roofs, ladders, grass, pavement for a bit no issues. When I'm on concrete 12 hours a day I hate life. My feet and legs kill. Mind you I have a previous injury that intensify's that pain so a normal person may not have same issue. They are very heavy though. Sole is starting to go now but I would say it still has a couple months left of life on those. Minus a bit of fading and some marks from work the integrity of the boot is perfect as if I just bought them (minus not sure how water is getting in) I am in my boots anywhere from 10 hours to 15 hours a day 7 days a week. They're a great boot even with it's downsides. Would I buy this boot again? No I've had $200 boots that have been lighter, last a couple years, waterproof and been very comfortable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from very disappointed I bought this boot early in 2015. i work mostly driving heavy equipment. the boots seemed to get wet if only a dark colud passed overhead. after about 14 months wear the soals let go and basically the boot started to fall apart.for the cost of the boots i certainly expected it to last longer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from very comfortable boot BUT the older version of this boot lasted me 4 years, no break in needed. excellent boots, i love the new boots, but, after 6 months the heal stitching came apart, and that is a big flaw, and marks and STC people wont do anything, even with the proof of purchase, all they would do is give a 20% discount on a new pair. no way, so i just keep wearing them cause they are a great boot, just one bad flaw.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Careful! The older versions of this boot are excellent, but the newer version has a non-leather tongue and shabby/cheap insoles. Very disappointed that they've cheapened the boot when people are willing to pay more for the quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A tank of a boot that actually lives up to its claims. I have to be in boots 10+ hours per day for work. I have my boots covered by my work, so I don't usually have a problem trying out different boots to experiment with. The last pair I got (Through Marks) were RedWings, and while they were pretty good, they still only managed to last a year. I could not find a boot over the years that would keep up with me longer then a single year, until these. The STC Duncans II's have not only held up, but they still look and work great. I also like that they are a Canadian company that actually makes boots in Canada. (Even if I had to pay for these out of my own pocket I would without hesitation) As a side note, I had to order these in from out west and had a sizing issue (ordered a size too large) that Mark's staff remedied in a quick and friendly manner. In fact, the location I go to tends to always have extremely helpful and patient staff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough and Dry, Outdoor Construction, Straight Goods. Used throughout last years monsoon in BC. Excellent in mucky construction outdoor job site conditions. GORE-TEX dry feet, easy to dry overnight. Confident walking on nails and wet live electrical cords. Not terribly heavy but overkill and clumsy indoors even under plywood shelter. Heel fabric broke down after five hundred hours. Doesn't stand up to long term abrasion/welding/grinding well. uppers lost rigidity after a year of persistent hard use. Nothing fancy, just decent quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots Had Danners. Lasted me two months before the sole wore out. These boots look like they will last 100 years. Too bad I won't live that long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best boots I've had these boots for just under 2 years now, wearing them almost every day and their still going strong. The Duncan's are totally water proof, I've stood in puddles up to my ankles with no leakage whatsoever. Probably the most comfortable footwear I've owned, they're great year round as well they're more than warm enough in the winter with a pair of good socks, and breathable enough to stay cool in the summer. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat, but it doesn't look like I'll need to as they're still in mint condition (paint, concrete and mud aside)
