Rated 4 out of 5 by from only 1 month, but happy so far I needed comfortable (because of sciatica) footwear with toe crush and footbed puncture protection, with a fairly deep tread to clear snow and wet grass. I bought this during the Boxing Week sale and with the discount and my employer's partial footwear coverage it was a good value. Without the discount and my employer's coverage, they would seem expensive. Price would be reasonable if they are still comfortable and not separating a year from now. It's not any heavier than my regular winter boots so I often wear these all the time. I sealed them with Dubbin, which I do every year or two with all of my leather footwear anyways. Sole separate from footbed so I think these can be re-soled IF you are so fortunate enough to have a cobbler/shoe repair shop in your area.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Comfort. The quick and dirty version: Great boots, One of the lightest boots I've owned, buy a size down and add toe caps right off the hop and you won't be disappointed. The more detailed version: I've worn many different work boots, and these by far are the most comfortable. I regularly work 12hr shifts in construction so to finally find a boot that doesn't leave my feet aching and crippled at the end of the shift is awesome. I only have one complaint and a heads up about these boots and they're both pretty minor. The first complaint being Toe caps, seriously a boot in this price bracket should not be shipped with out them. The leather is pretty soft and I'd say with in a week I had them ripped (fixed it with a healthy coating of super glue) If these boots came with to caps I they would be the perfect boot. As a heads up if you're going to buy these, buy a half size down, I bought these in my normal size and unless I'm wearing thick socks (which sucks in the summer) these boots roll my ankles like it's it's job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very comfortable Second pair. Love them. Only advice is to get a pair that fits right if they are too lose, inside heal will wear fast, and will hurt your foot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good protection I have had 2 of these. Comfort is really good. Though if you walk a lot it might be a little too heavy and your ankles might hurt, i have already been used to it. After 6 months the sole started to go as I walked a lot at the job. my bottom of my feet would get sore. They last you around 1 year before it starts to smell. But if you dont have such a hassle job where you are walking every second, these are really good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hermes boots These boots are a gift from all the gods from mount Olympus, you feel like you are walking along side them. Once i added the new Dr.sholls gels to the mix it felt like i was in France stomping on grapes to make some of the finest wine you have ever tasted.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very comfortable, but pricey for lasting under a year This is not the right type of workboot if you actually do work. The toes will scrape off and reveal the composite toe and the outside of the boot wears out and breaks in under a year. Basically wherever the boot will bend, it will wrinkle and eventually break open and this took under a year for me. It was a very comfortable shoe, but the insoles did wear out sooner than the boot itself. Oh and the inside of the boot, the heel part wore out. Get these if you don't do any actual work aside from walking around all day (safety officer). Get something with a protected toe and even more flexible material.
