Men's Yoho Hiking Boot is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from good boots for price, especially if on sale have worn these as my regular shoes and hiked in them 3 or 4 times a month over the last year and they still look like they have another year in them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value when on sale... I have been buying hiking boots since the 1970s, usually from MEC. Their boots have become very expensive, even the ones out of China. A year ago I purchased a pair of Wind River Yaho Hikers at the Belleville location. Of all the boots they carried, the Yaho Hiker was the only brand that fit well, and was comfortable at the store. It's been a year and I'm headed to Belleville tomorrow (Jan 3, 2015) to get another pair. Nobody has mentioned the outer sole which is impregnated within the rubber compound with artificial diamond chips. It's call, Green Diamond Technology: "Rubber outsoles with Industrial Diamond grip control. We use patented artificial diamonds® for maximum safety, grip." This feature has saved my bacon more than once on ice and wet, slippery conditions. When looking at the bottom of the boot, you can easily see the diamonds glistening in the light. My pair have remained waterproof. The stitching has remained intact. During the summer months, my feet so sweat in these boots. I wear them every day, all day. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these boots This is my second pair of these they get quite the workout in the mountains and are very comfortable and warm, I decided to treat myself to a new pair for this winter, the old ones are now my backups they are still fine but you cant beat that new boot feeling in the first snows ,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm buying my son his 3rd pair tomorrow. My son, the fashion freak, at 22, refused to put them on when I first bought them. After soaking his shoes and feet, he tried these. They come off only when he really dresses up. Each of the first two pairs lasted over a year with winter, spring, summer and fall wearing. Only thing wrong is he really could use a size 91/2 instead of 10. Don't you make them anymore?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fell apart way too quickly I'd imagine these boots would be great for someone that hikes once a week. As a landscaper they sucked and split apart in various places within months letting water in and losing shape

Rated 2 out of 5 by from sole seperation Bought these for my son January 2014, he only wore them about 10 times, then this winter we pulled them out again and after 5 days of wearing, the sole has separated. Of course the 100 day warranty has passed, but he only actually used them for just over 2 weeks. Not impressed. I am gluing them with contact cement to see if that holds. These weren't cheap to buy but are obviously cheaply made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Making winter bearable I bought these about a month ago while they were on sale. No problems with quality... stitching, laces, etc holding up so far. I wear them for a minimum 40 minute walk per day, plus basic running around town. I've gone through rain, puddles, slush, snow, and sub -25 degree weather, and these boots have been warm and dry no matter what.
