Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yoho Hiking Shoes I purchased these shoes about 2 months ago but have yet to wear them;now that winter is winding down I plan on wearing them shortly and putting away my winter boots. I already have the Yoho Winter Boots and am very happy with that purchase and recently posted a positive review for them. When I saw the Yoho Hiking Shoes it was a no brainer so I purchased them as well for wearing in the Spring and Fall seasons;of course I can use the Hiking Boots all seasons also if I wish. The hiking shoes seem well constructed like the boots and claim to be waterproof(only time will tell). I would like to point out one issue with the shoes and that is after purchasing and trying on just one shoe for fit I saw a review posted on the Marks website indicating an issue with the waterproof membrane hanging down up inside in the toe area so I checked the shoe I hadn't tried on and lo and behold the membrane was hanging(thank-you to that reviewer for the heads up). It only affected the one shoe so I brought them back to Marks and they checked another pair which were perfect so I just exchanged them and all is good. The store staff at the Kelsey Drive store in St. John's were not aware of this issue so it may or may not be wide-spread but if you buy check anyway while at the store to save a trip back later to exchange.Apparently it's only the hiking shoes and not the boots with this problem.I would buy this product and would recommend to a friend regardless of this one issue to be aware of.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is my third model This is the ONLY winter shoe (not boot) out there and for some reason, they seem to only produce it every 2-3 years. Nowhere am I able to find an insulated waterproof shoe so let me just say I've been eagerly waiting for it. Unfortunately, it took 3 returned orders and 4 stores for me to get a pair, as most suffer from a manufacturing defect, the waterproof membrane is crumpled up at the front above the toes. The defect was on one of the shoes or both everytime I ordered a pair. I finally gave up and decided to go to the store but they only had 1 or 2 pairs my size and they had the defect. It was only just before Christmas that I managed to find 3 pairs my size in a store and scored a defect free left and right shoe to make a pair. It was about time as my old pair was pretty worn. As usual, the shoe is very comfortable but more importantly, it keeps my feet warm without having to wear special socks and it's very good on snow thanks to the tarantula sole. I just hope the fact they don't sell this year won't stop them from producing a similar model in the years to come. Knowing how rare it is to find a shoe like that, I was looking to get 2 pairs but because of the defect, I'm lucky I have one...
