Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing winter boot Bought these in December (finally) to replace an old pair. Was skeptical at first but fell in love instantly. They are incredibly light which is a huge bonus. They really fit perfect. They are incredibly warm. We've had some bad winter days and I walk my dog daily and never felt cold at all. I'd recommend these over any other boot for anyone doing any work outside.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from FANTASTIC VALUE I bought these a couple of weeks ago for a trip delivering an airplane through Siberia in the winter .. I'm talking about a small plane which requires many stops, some of which the temperature was -45 with the windchill (-37 plus 15 knots wind). I had bought these to replace a VERY old pair of Sorels that I had, and cannot say enough good stuff about them. These boots are incredibly comfortable (I bought a 1/2 size bigger than my normal shoe-size), and very very toasty, even after an hour of walking outdoors on that coldest day in Anadyr, Siberia. Seriously good boots. The only flaw I could point out is that the top 2 lace attachments are not as rugged as they should be in my opinion, they function like metal staples which are stapled/clamped into the fabric, and one of them has come loose on me, but with a pair of pliers I was able to crimp it back into position. I got them for about 50% off during a clearance sale in early January ... EXCELLENT !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best winter boots I have ever owned. I purchased these boots two winters ago. I work outdoors flooding and servicing outdoor skating northern Alberta. I needed a durable, warm and waterproof boot. These boots were exactly what I was looking for. My feet have never been cold in them, even in temperatures below -25c. They are light and extremely durable. The only cons I could see people having with them is they aren't very supportive and they do slip around on ice a little, I think this is a result of how light weight they are. No bulky sole or stiff sidewalls. But, that's what I like about them, they are easy to get around in. If you want extreme ice traction, buy the boots that have the little shards of glass in the sole. But, if you are looking for warmth and really light weight boots, these are the ticket. They are very durable as well. They have survived two seasons of heavy use. I highly recommend these boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks good outside but inside is a little problem. Inside size 13 -being the size I bought- it has a little hurtful bumpy area of material that's located in the back area of our human feet (assuming it would fit me after trying on size 12 -when I normally wear 11e5 in running shoes - in store but that there were no size 13 in stock) once placed inside. I personally wish to be able to exchange it for a size 14 but I unfortunately am unable to Because I've already use it outside for a few hours. Trying it on for 15 minutes in my apartment I didn't notice this problem until wearing it for a few hours outside doing an errand in buying groceries. I'm also disappointed that size 14 is entirely sold out in Canada all together as of January 2 2016 afternoon. An employee told me that there's not as much quantity of size 14 in stock across Canada as the other sizes. I must say that you'd be surprise with the amount of people that would wear your size 14 not only because there's a lot more people with big feet then you'd think but that I also feel like your size 14 is actually a size 13, then size 13 actually being a size 12 ... ... ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, warm boot, 4.5 out of 5 4.5 stars out of 5. Very high warmth to weight ratio. Relatively flexible compared to other heavy duty cold boots. Surprisingly pleasant walking boot. Gives decent ankle flex with break in and proper lacing. Good sole for city walking, but not ideal for trail walking. Wish it had the same anti-slip compound as the Snow Leopard boot. A more aggressive outsole would also be an improvement. Also wish it came in half sizes, as I'm one of those people who is right in between sizes. 11 was too tight (pressure on toes) and 12 has just a little bit of slop in the fit. These boots don't need extra thick socks since they are so warm on their own, so it would be nice if they were made to fit better. Perhaps I should have tried the 11s with just a thin liner sock, and hoped that they packed down a little bit with wear, but I didn't want to take the gamble. Plus, the liner and insole seem well made and high-quality, so not likely to pack down much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boot - not great traction This boot is great in many regards. Warm, comfortable, lightweight etc, etc. I have one beef. The tread is shallow and does not shed the snow when walking in certain conditions. You end up riding on a thin layer of snow and slipping around. I find it especially scary when walking on pavement, on an incline and when there is a skim of fine snow or when walking on slush. I don't understand the other reviews not mentioning this?!? I am getting a set of yaktraxs or the like, because I am freaked out when walking in those conditions; and I'm a pretty nimble guy.
