Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far, so good I just did a test run with these outside for an hour shovelling out a massive dump of snow. No issues with the sizing for me, I wear an 8 and these fit like an 8.5. If you have a wide foot though, I could see where you might have issues. Also no weird bumps or lumps and the grip is fantastic, sounds like I lucked in! My only worry is the warmth factor. I've been wearing Baffin for the least 4 years, with the insulated insert, a bit clunky, but never had a problem with cold toes. Not so with these, maybe an extra sock will do the trick, but I found them to not be as warm as I was hoping. Still on the fence as to whether or not I'll keep them. Stay tuned....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot for northern winters really like the comfort ,warmth and look of this boot....the sizing runs small... I usually take an 8 and tried a size 10 with a heavy wool sock and they fit perfect! 2 hours in -35c weather no problems very warm...........

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shoe Lace Plastic Covers??? Wondering if anyone else has experienced the same problem I had with my boots. I bought these earlier this winter and the first time I wore them all but one of the plastic covers that are at the ends of the shoe laces fell off :( I am very disappointed as I am not able to open the plastic clip to put it back on the shoe lace and without them makes the boot not as attractive. Anyone have a fix for this?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Same issue as everyone else but I still love this boot I bought this boot in October 2014 and started wearing them in December, after wearing them for 1 week and there was a bump in the right foot. i went back to the store and they were kind to let me exchange them. I've been wearing my new pair for a month now and the same issue is happening again on the left boot. this makes it hard to put on that boot. I love the boot tho. I'm debating getting an exchange again or choosing a different pair I wear really thin socks with them and I do not feel cold I don't slip even on ice. Other then the issue with the lining this boos is great. It is a bit of a tight fit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Winter Boots I was lucky enough to get these boots on sale. I was looking for a nice, warm boot without a liner that had a good grip, and these fit the bill perfectly. I noticed some other reviews had some problems with the construction, but I haven't had any problems of that sort. Perhaps there was a bad batch of them, so I would recommend buying them in store, as I did, so that you can make sure you get a good pair. I've worn these boots since early December and through some of the snows and can vouch for the grippiness of these boots too. I often have trouble with slipperiness (I grew up in a non wintery climate), but I find these boots to be exceedingly helpful when dealing with ice. They're nice and toasty warm as well. No liner, but as they have great insulation I don't feel like they need it. I don't like the feel of separate liners so for me it's a pro. I don't like the floppy feeling some heavier winter boots can have, so I ordered a half size down, but if you're one of those folks that like wearing those thick winter socks then your regular size should be fine. I will also note that you might get a bit of white fuzz on your pants from the cuff when you first get them, but this stops after a few days (and the cuff still looks full). Pros: Warm, grippy, no separate liner Cons: No separate liner (for some this is a con), double check quality

Rated 2 out of 5 by from On my second pair that I have to return They are mostly comfortable.... Very warm.... However my problem with them is that the right boot (and this is the second time) seems to be flawed. The insole has shifted and I have to return them again..... I love the look of these boots....

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks are deceiving This is really a beautiful boot! I fell in love with it BUT if you have a wide foot this boot is NOT for you. I ordered a size 10 (I am usually a 9) and it was so tight in the width. I tried on the 11 hoping to gain a bit of width and it ended up looking like a clown shoe on me. I had to return them! Also I had the same problem that some other people noted on here. The inner lining of the boot was folded and probably would have causes blisters if I got to wear them for a long period of time. Overall I would not recommend this boot (unless you have super slim feet).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor construction, very disappointed :( I just received these boots today and was so excited for them. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my purchase. I got the left boot on and it felt pretty good, but when I put the right on, there was a large fold of material just above my ankle, and there is no way to smooth it out. I can't wear them, as I'm sure I would end up with a massive blister or worn skin where the fold is located. It was so uncomfortable! I couldn't even lace them up properly because they were so uncomfortable. When I took the left boot off, the toggle on one end of the lace popped off. I had tied it ONCE and it popped right off! I didn't even bother trying to put the toggle back on, because at that point I had made up my mind that these were going back to the store immediately, and the lace was already frayed. I'll be looking for boots elsewhere. Very disappointing, especially for the price! I got them on sale, and I'm annoyed that I used a one time 10% off coupon on these poor quality boots! I definitely wouldn't buy them at the regular price, or on sale. On a positive note, they seem as though they will be very warm, and the "Tarantula" sole seems as though it would be very grippy on ice and snow. So if you want to take a chance on these, at least they have this going for them. As a note, I usually wear a size 8-8.5 (depending on the style of shoe) and I have a wide foot. I ordered these in a size 9 to account for the fact that I would wear them with thicker socks for winter. The 9's were just right and had ample room in the toe box for my wider foot and a thick pair of socks. Just a FYI if you're ordering online and can't try them on beforehand. Too bad about the poor quality construction on these boots. I expect better from Marks Work Wearhouse, especially for the price I paid.
