Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I bought these gloves online, they were delivered 2 days ago. The stitching on the inside left glove was unravelling. I used scissors to snip off the dangling thread. This morning in Vancouver it was - 6 C so it was a good test. These gloves are woefully inadequate with respect to keeping my fingers warm. There is extra padding around the inside of the thumb, about 505 of the circumference. It begins about 1/2 " from the top leaving inside part of the thumb with meagre protection. The outside part of the thumb does have extra protection. The index finger has added protection on the inside part of the finger tip, nothing extra on the outside part. The middle and ring fingers have nothing extra on the inside or outside of the finger .The baby finger has added protection on the outside of the finger, nothing on the inside part. In 20 minutes the middle, ring, and baby fingers were very cold. AND the material on gloves - the inside of the middle, ring, and baby finger is very poor quality. It already fraying, shedding. These gloves are made for Marks by Bob Dale and rebranded under the Dakota name. I would never buy them again, and cannot recommend them. If this "T-Max insulation offers the ultimate protection" then Bob Dale is clueless about what constitutes a well-made insulated winter glove. Very disappointed in the design and the poor insulation, thus the low rating. They are comfortable, fit me well, no problems there. And my fingers, hands do not sweat in them. High marks for that. But I bought them for WINTER and for WINTER GLOVES I have to give these gloves a failing grade. Inescapable conclusion.
