10" CTCP Oil Transitional Boot

Description / What it’s For

These mid-calf height, full grain leather boots are waterproof and treated for diesel and oil resistance. A transitional boot, they are designed for drivers, equipment operators, couriers and other trades requiring protection from wet or slippery environments. When the mercury drops they feature a removable T-MAX insulation liner that regulates the temperature for maximum comfort. Green Diamond technology on the rubber outsole provides sturdy traction and control, while the TPU toe cap extends the life of the boot.

10" CTCP Oil Transitional Boot is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Expected better Pros: Warm, Comfortable, great grip on ice. Cons:Poor construction, not very durable. Got about 6 months of use out of these(used only during winter), before the sole completely fell apart(split and cracked in several places. Expected more out of a $250 pair of boots. Might be good for use in industries where oil and diesel aren't present, but for a railroad diesel mechanic...not so much. Disappointing, because other than the durability being subpar, they are warm and comfortable boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight, warm, long lasting! I work outside as a blaster and I gotta say that there's no better boot out there than these. Really light compared to most boots and rather small for how warm they are. I'm not gonna lie, if your just standing in the cold and not moving you do get a a bit cold, but what boot doesn't. I've had 2 of the previous pairs and they both lasted 3 winters. Probably could of got more out of them if the explosives didn't eat away at the boots. Awesome boot! Recommend to all!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bargain Winter Boots Bought these for work on the railroad to keep my feet warm & protected throughout the Alberta 2016 winter. Recommended by a colleague. $70 in store reduction on the boots, plus got the 25% employee enhanced subsidy discount from my employer. Had to go one size up as I had trouble getting them on with the boot liners. I wear thinner socks with these boots for a better fit without any loss of warmth. The lightweight boots were a little stiff to wear at first but soon gave & eased up. I wear them with overalls which go over them & work well. Time will tell but I know people who have had these boots 2+ years with heavy, hard everyday use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best winter work boots I've ever owned!!!!!! Not much heavier than a regular work boot but 10 times warmer. The grip on cold winter steel is also great because the rubber bottoms stay soft even in -30. I will likely buy a second pair to have on hand just in case they get discontinued!!!
