Men's Cobra 8" STSP Waterproof Work Boot is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy. After 4 months the lining split and I had to use duct tape to patch it so it would stop cutting my heel. 4 months later they fell apart at the toe. Not worth the price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality has gone downhill This is my second pair, i'm an electrician, so i dont do a ton of damage to my boots. My first pair lasted 3 years, they were comfortable and after that long they needed to be replaced. So figured why mess with a good thing, this most recent pair has lasted right around 9 months and the right boots sole has completely separated from the boot. The laces caps broke off within the first week leaving me to burn the ends with a lighter so they'd fit through the eyelets. These boots are now throw away. I think what drives me crazy is that DAKOTA BOOTS is just a marks brand like kirkland for costco, or great value for walmart, they are making these boots for pennies on the dollar and then selling them at huge profits with no liability, 100 day warranty is terrible, timerland offers 1 year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only truly wide boot I have purchased this boot over and over throughout the years because it not only is a quality boot but it is a true 3E wide boot, very comfortable. I wear it all year long. I bit on the expensive side, but some things have to be bought for comfort and size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Work Boots These are my 2nd pair of boots. Construction hasn't changed. Still fit my side foot comfortably.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst money I have spent on boots I bought these boots less than a year ago and the stitching is coming undone, leather is cracking and the boot had lost all foot support and the soles are shot. I work both outdoor and indoors around water, oil, and concrete. Very disappointed as they are fairly pricey.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from What happened to the quality? I owned 6 pairs of these boots. In the past a pair would almost make it 2 years, The last 4 have all fallen apart at the toe or the stitching. I don't abuse my boots but in the last 4 years the quality has gone down. If you are looking for comfort this is the boot. If you are looking for a boot that is tough and will last...look somewhere else.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comfy but not as great as they once were. I have owned several pairs of these over the last 8yrs. The recent revisions of these boots have shown a decline in longevity. I used to be able to get 2 years out of them, then I got a year and a a bit before the laces and flexibility went and now 6 months due to the lining in the boot tearing and wrinkling exposing some sharp plastic bits. I had a similar problem as a previous reviewer with a tongue that was folded/stitched weird from the factory causing pain. I had them swapped under warranty and the new pair was fine. I also had another pair in a prior year that was too tight on one foot and had to swap them to find a pair without a defect. I continue to buy these because of comfort and most importantly the insulation that a lot of boots lack but am frustrated by the decline in quality (and quality control) and the increase in price.
