Men's Dakota STCP HD3 Hiking Boots is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from These boots do not last I bought these boots hoping for good quality and because they were waterproof. After about a month they start to fall apart and never seemed to be able to keep my feet dry. For $200.00 definitely get a different product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comfortable but Poor Quality Decent boots, feel nice on the feet and reasonably waterproof. However, after a few weeks of wearing the laces are shot because the eyelets are sharp and cut into them. I tie my boots very loosely and the factory laces have lasted months on pairs of Dakota 527's I have worn. Not impressed with this poor design. As well the stitching on the outside of the boot at the foot bend has been coming apart. Normally I would have returned them under the Marks guarantee, however the boots sat new in the box in my closet for a couple months before my previous 527's gave up. As such I am past the time period allowed for return/exchange. Overall, don't waste your money or be prepared to return them for another pair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very comfortable The boots are very comfortable to wear but the quality is lacking. At just over two months use the stitching is breaking at the toe bend. Also the tarantula grip is good only if the boots are warm. The soles become very stiff and extremely slippery in colder temperature

Rated 4 out of 5 by from VERY VERY comfortable but... one of the soles started becoming unglued after only 2 months of use. Trying another Dakota brand boot for the past few weeks has made me really appreciate how comfortable these shoes actually were. I'm going to return the boots I exchanged them for, to get these ones again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable, but do not last I'm on my second pair of these. Picked them up on sale, with in-store discount. They are very comfortable right out of the box, and I liked that they boast waterproof, not just water resist. However, after 4 months, the rubber lower when the toe/foot bends separated from the tops, resulting in leaks. The first pair did the same, but I figured maybe it was just a defective pair. Fool me twice... After 6 months, where the toe bends, the boot split entirely making them useless. Laces broke after 2 months of use. I work in a heavy equipment repair shop, so these boots get used all day, 6 days a week. I will not be buying another pair of these.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from comfortable, nice style, but NOT WATERPROOF -Boots really form to your feet well -Super light -They are definitely NOT waterproof. 8 hour work day of just walking through snow, and the toe are wet all over. You can literally feel all of the wetness in the fabric, which makes its way under the rubber toe cover, soaking your toes eventually. This is just snow sitting on top and melting through, not even walking through water. This was after only my first day of wearing them. Definitely not impressed with that, may return them soon.
