Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review title Bought them online without first trying them, and got lucky. They fit well, feel well, and were the right price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just terrible The only good thing these boots have going for them, is if you work at a desk all day. The plastic heel doesn't flex when you walk, creating a very unpleasant pain. And the plastic that covered the heel ripped straight across the steel toe exposing it. So I returned them after owning them for one month. I've tried other Xtoe boots and they are all the same for the heel pain. That one star should be nothing, but you can't post without it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fit OK This is what a few months on the job did to these boots. The upper faired a little better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Most uncomfortable boots ever! Got xtoe boots for Xmas. After 1 week I had blisters on both feet. Most uncomfortable boots I've ever owned. Pretty disappointing at 230 bucks a pair. Received no satisfaction from store. Will not be buying Dakota boots again and I've worn them for 20 years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Most Comfortable Work Boots Ive Owned, too bad. These boots were awesome, I put them on and there was 0 break in, instant comfort. They kept my feet warm, fit well and I had lots of freedom in them while still keeping good ankle support. Unfortunately, about 3 months after I got them the sole semi separated from the boot, water got under there and my feet were never warm since, and wherever i walked all you could here is *Squish*,*Squish*,*Squish*, and bubbles come out from between the sole and the boot.. I'm not hard on footwear, I walk back and forth from an office to the shop on level concrete floor. I could not find my receipt to return them, and I have to wait a year before I can buy a new pair through work. I let them dry out and tried sealing them again with ShoeGoo. If that doesn't work I'll have to throw them out and replace them myself. Unimpressed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Waterproof, but not "walk-proof" Bought these boots for the winter in Vancouver and they kept my feet dry. But the heel wore down extremely fast. They're lightweight, and comfortable after breaking in (mind you there were some painful spots)... but for the price... I do moderate walking on pavement and gravel, as a railroad conductor and railcar loader (some light labour). Had them just under 3 months (60x8hr shifts) and there's already holes in the heel and sole where the air pockets are. I imagine they put them in their for comfort, which is nice but... Pretty upset about that after spending over $230 CDN. Also a few VERY bad pressure points around the ankle for the first 2-3 weeks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boot Boots seem to be made of good quality. I walk a lot in them 12 hour shift, 14-20 km (in a warehouse) Had them already for 2 weeks, so far so good. No blistering whatsoever I just have one little complaint, these boots don't breath well socks get hot and wet.
