Rated 2 out of 5 by from Painful For my job (Building Service Worker in an educational establishment) I need Class1 CSA steel toe approved footwear. On a slow day I am on my feet for 8km. I have had 5 pairs so far and 3 being 6" Boots and these are the heaviest and most painful to wear. The boots I previously had the sole was coming apart and to my dismay Mark's stop carrying them and replaced them with these. I wish I bought another of those pair when I saw them but no one in store was available to help. I thought I would give these a try as I wanted a pull on STSP footwear. After a week one foot has a sore ankle and both soles of my feet are sore. I would not recommend these boots perhaps I will try another outlet after buying 4 pairs of footwear from Mark's.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Uncomfortable and heavy After three months I gave up wearing these. Uncomfortable, heavy and the heels wore fast. Appeared to have 8 months wear after only 3 months of use. The price attracted me but it's of no use if they can't be worn.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth your money I work on boats an around construction sites so slip on boots are great. For what you pay for these boots are not worth it. After a few mouths the heels started to come off. After the heels the side of the boots started coming apart i tried gluing them but no luck. If it rains i have to go slow because i don't want to slip or fall with boots with flat bottoms. I had this boots for almost a year now an never going to get them again. I though they would be great but after the heels started to come off they where the worst. I'm going to new boots an never going to look back at these ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Last pair lasted 8 years! I finally found them again! :) I have just bought my 2nd pair of these boots... my last pair lasted 8 long years, I was so elated! I did rub them once a month with lard, to keep the leather supple. The only reason they died, is because of the sole wearing out, and my lack of "larding" them in the last year of their life. I will "lard" these new boots on the same regime, and will also replace the sole (when needed) with a more durable "Matterhorn" sole. If you oil (lube the leather) regularly.... these boots will last at least 5-10 yrs! As for comfort, buy a decent "Gel" insole, and enjoy a decent quality boot for a change. With a little care, and insoles, these boots will astound you, I'm buying another pair next payday. I'll never have to buy another pair of workboots again! :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Heel Pad Peeling Off Like the other reviewers below, I've had these less than a year and the heel pad is coming off of both boots. Other than that no complaints, they are comfy and leather and stitching look durable. Since I rotate between this boot and 2 other boots every day, they only see action a couple a days a week. They look mint, just the heel panel is falling off. Clearly a bad batch of adhesive during production. They should do a recall (haha). Shoe goo, guys, don't toss em out yet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lasted 4 months and no return after 100 days Nice boots until for a couple months until they start to fall apart. Mine lasted 4 months before the sole fell off and I only wear them a few times a month!
