Waterproof Bib Pants

Description / What it’s For

Sometimes work gets dirty and the Dakota waterproof HYPER-DRI® HD3 heavy-duty bib pant can handle the worst of it. Rugged 600-denier polyester, with heat sealed seams, means water doesn’t get in, but the fabric still breathes. Key stress points are reinforced with brass rivets, and the heavy-duty elastic suspenders are easy to adjust. These bib pants have a convenient tool pocket on the left leg, a double tool pocket on the on the right leg and both come with drainage holes. Brass rivet reinforced hammer loops on both hips means your go-to tool is always at the ready. When the work gets to ground level, there is room to insert kneepads for extra cushioning, and a handy snap bib pocket keeps things close at hand. These pants are hard-core comfort for the guy who works in all types of weather.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for mud We just bought 2 pairs of these bibs for going out quadding. We've only been on one ride with them so far but nothing else I've tried has ever kept me dry and mud free and warm for as long as these bibs did! They lasted through driving through huge mud puddles, rainy weather and even sleet and my legs felt nothing. I even rain through the trees collecting firewood and didn't find them too bulky or cumbersome. Very comfortable and durable. I definitely recommended these to others who we were out on the trails with.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice but bad zippers I bought these after having had the matching coat for a couple of years and really liking it. It was well made, very durable and worked well at keeping you warm and dry. After wearing these pants for a few hours the zipper broke ( teeth on the zipper broke off and the zipper pop out) from bending and squatting. They are very loose in the legs but have zero stretch at the waist which ends up putting pressure on the zipper and breaking it. I returned this pair and the exact same thing happen with the replacement. Since the zipper runs the full length of the leg it means if it breaks then that full zipper will eventually undo and become useless.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from As usual...poor workmanship I'll also do a review on their bib overalls. I've bought Dakota brand products over the years and I can't say I've ever been satisfied with the quality. I've had a pair of these "heavy duty" bib pants for 3 years but have only worn them 3 or 4 times and, same as the last review, the zipper blew out and made these un-wearable. They should not advertise any Dakota wear for serious work use as they just don't stand up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lousy Product After wearing this pant for only an hour, the side zipper broke, making the pant all but unwearable. This happened just before a heavy rain when I really needed them. Also, the matching bomber jacket leaked in that same storm. The "sealable" zipper on the pit zips did not work and left my upper body cold and wet. I would suggest you look elsewhere or for a higher quality product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pants are not waterproof These pants are NOT worth the money. After 1 hour in rain they soaked through. I would not recommend these pants
