Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice but bad zipper design I bought these after having had the matching coat for a couple of years and really liking it. It was well made, very durable and worked well at keeping you warm and dry. After wearing these pants for a few hours in the cold the zipper broke from bending and squatting. They are very loose in the legs but have zero stretch at the waist which ends up putting pressure on the zipper and breaking it. I returned this pair and the exact same thing happen with the replacement, I then tried the non insulated version and the same thing happens. Since the zipper runs the full length of the leg it means if it breaks then that full zipper will eventually undo and become useless.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not for direct water contact! I worked out at a fishing lodge with these, wore them everyday for three months. after days of long rain I would be soaking wet. the seam along the crotch ripped after 3 weeks. they were comfortable but I wouldn't say that they are waterproof; I would say they are water resistant. The straps could use some reinforcement, they seemed to come loose all the time. overall I would not recommend this product to anyone working around water and a lot of rain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got this for working out side in Winnipeg, Manitoba during winter. I have had these for 2 months and have been working outside in Winnipeg almost everyday. It has been around -50 with the windchill for the past 8 weeks and Its the coldest Dec/jan in 80 years. I have had no problems with them and i have been under vehicles and covered in gas almost every time I work and still no rips or damage due to gas/diesel. I have been worm in this for 8 hour shifts standing in -50 weather. The only problem that I have had was with the top pocket. The button keeps most stuff in but sometimes when im on the ground working on a car my knife falls out. But other then that they are amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great outerwear! I have had these pants for 1 month and so far they have been great! The straps could have more room for adjustment. They would not be good for a taller person (I am 5'10"). They seem to be holding up well through two snowstorms. I have been looking for 2 years and these are the first pair I have thought suitable!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this product for my son to use skiing and they have been an econonmical substitute for waterproof ski pants This product was a good purchase as my son has been skiing in very wet conditions and the pants keep him completely dry at half the price of waterproof ski pants. THe only drawback is that having the bib front up while in the vehicle is too warm but there is no elastic or other mechanism at the waist to keep them up if the bib and suspenders are not used.
