Rated 4 out of 5 by from As Advertized I bought this Jacket to compliment my uniform when working. I found that it works great in some areas, and hope developers consider additional features in the future. The biggest issue with the jacket is the inner jacket, the sleeves are not 3xl, but xl. I was sooo disappointed, as this inner jacket and its reversible capability was a key drive to purchase this jacket. Another issue, but not as big, as it is now summer time, I use the inner jacket sleeveless, (another great feature) but, warm. The fleece lining is great for winter conditions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems warm, heavy weight and sleeves could be longer Although I haven't had it in the field yet, the jacket does seem quite warm. It's heavy, and some of the guys in the office found the sleeves a little short when they lifted their arms. Not too much of an issue, but would like to see a tall version.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Coat I have 7 fellows on ground operations in Yellowknife NT. To give you an idea of the work we do, we tried the 3-in-1 first and they lasted about 3 weeks before they would break down. We switched to the 7-in-1 and have been very pleased. I have since only had one break when it got snagged on machinery. The material does plastify in -35 to -40, but it doesn't seem to affect the integrity of the fabric: I'm not seeing any wrinkle wear etc. The collar is good, being both big enough to tuck your chin in if you need to and short enough that it's not jabbing you in the throat. Sleeves are a good length. The major flaw we find is that the chest pocket zipper is under the armpit so you have to really fight to get anything in or out. I understand this keeps the zipper protected from wear and tear, but it's a pain and we would like to see next years incarnation moved beside the main zipper. Also, the reflective fabric shreds and comes undone really easy, but I haven't seen better in any competitor's product: still needs improvement but best on the market that I have found. WORKING at -40, most of the guys leave their inside sleeves off, wearing the inside layer as a vest, since the liner sleeves are bulky and the jacket without them is warm enough when you are working hard. We are wearing long underwear, hoodies etc as normal for -40. It's not a Canada Goose, but it also will hold up to wear far better than a Canada Goose. We are pleased with this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Jacket - nice to be visible Bought these jackets for my Father and myself so we can be seen for excavation work. Very warm and comfortable, but first day wearing in rain, they both leak at the inner elbows. They do only say "water repellent". Had I seen that I would have chose something else. Great for cold non rainy conditions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Jacket so Far Purchased this jacket to work in cold environment(-20c +) and so far it has done all that is required. Outer material gets a little stiff in real cold but that is expected. With proper layering of clothing it is quite comfortable down past -30.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lower than expected quality I bought this jacket 09-19-13 and it is now falling apart already. The very first time I put it on the loop inside the outer shell fell off and it no longer hooked the inner and outter jackets together. Not a big deal but now the sleeves stitching is coming apart. Where the sleeves zip onto the body of the jacket the zippers are starting to already fall apart. The stitching was fine until I began climbing scaffolding at work and when I reached up too high the stitching ripped apart. I don't think this is a good example of the normal quality I get buying from Mark's but this jacket was definitly sub standard. I did not stretch it hard or anything to really put enough stress on the arms to justify the stitching ripping apart, so I gave the jacket a lower rating than I would if it was being abused. I did counter my rating by also giving Marks the benifit of the doubt because of their reputation for decent work clothes. But my overall opinion is this jacket is a dud. It is super warm and I wear it 5-6 days a week outside even in the -50oC temps and it was toasty with good coveralls. I also feel the shell is more plastic than anything because even when it was -50oC and windy as heck outside I was covered in sweat after 2 hours outside. I try to remove the outter shell as much as possible because of how it does not allow the jacket to breathe and I get completly soaked in no time... but when it is super cold outside and windy the jacket will keep you warm.
