Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage I've bought 2 pairs of these boots and never again.!! The 'kevlar' laces start coming apart usually on the 2nd or 3rd day from the the metal grommets. Then the gommets on the leather lace protectors rip out and eventualy the laces rip through the leather and the lace protectector and now its useless. Then the rubber sole starts seperating from the bottom of the boot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A well made narrow toed boot Hello, I go through a pair of this type of boot every year because I work in a harsh environment. Read some reviews before buying the boots( people saying the toe was narrow ) so I bought a 1/2 size larger. Well made boot but steel toe way too narrow. Forced myself to wear them for about 3 weeks , thinking(hoping) that the boots would break in and having to switch back to my old boots certain days because my middle toe on right foot just couldn't handle it, left foot also sore but could have suffered a bit longer. My middle toes finally couldn't take it, so I GAVE my $200 boots to a co-worker that had the same problem and gave them back to me after a week, another co-worker is trying them now. Boots were comfortable, except for a very narrow toe, good sole grips, heal was good, but now I need to buy another pair( wanted the Dakota Mammoths but only come in size 7, are they discontinued?).Sorry, can't recommend the boots.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as happy this time I am not happy that Marks never has my size or any others close to my size of these boots in stock. With being my 4th pair of these in last 8 years i just ordered them online but i think the average customer would want to try them on before having to pay a few hundred to order online and not be sure what size they need or if they will like them. I had same problem of no store stock last time also. This time i am finding the boots taking longer to break in. I coated them in mink oil to waterproof and soften leather and finally after my 2nd week wearing they are finally not killing my feet after 8 hours. For some reason this pair feel a bit tighter than others in the past and after putting the mink oil on and wearing in the plant for 2 weeks i highly doubt they would let me exchange or return them. Not sure if i would buy again if no store atock

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Uncomfortable Cap I owned a pair of the Dakota Mamoth boots and loved them. Now all they carry are these for some reason they decided we no longer have a small toe. What is with this cap?? Way to narrow!! Just look at the top view and you can see how it cuts in. Absolute waste of my money. I am wearing my old pair that are falling apart now because these just are aweful to wear! Do not buy these!!! Demand the Mamoth back!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the only boots i wear i work in hazmat/demo...in these i'm like spiderman...they stick like glue on steep pitched roofs, and i can climb scaffold like a monkey in them...i wear them on weekends sometimes as they're the most comfortable footwear i own.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not comfortable The steel toe is to narrow. The width of the boot is good right until the steel toe. If I put my hand in the boot it feels like the steel toe goes in about a 1/8" on both sides. Very uncomfortable. Tried wearing them for 3 weeks and can't handle it anymore. Switched back to wearing my old pair of mammoths.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Metguard boots. Comfortable boots but I wish the soles were a bit more durable. The heels usually wear uneven after about 6 months.
