Rated 1 out of 5 by from Soles come apart Bought two winters ago, but used only on colder days and when rubber boots were not needed. This fall I wore them a few weeks and noticed they were becoming less comfortable. Upon inspection, noticed in both boots that the tread rubber was separating from the base rubber...not where it is stitched to the boot. I just looked up Mark's return policy, and they offer 100 days on boots. These expensive boots lasted about 1/4 as long as my summer boots, which I have worn for 3 years now and cost 1/2 as much. Too bad, these Dakotas were warm the one winter I got to use them. I was expecting to get at least one more winter out of them. I will not be buying another Dakota brand boot again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible quality boot, avoid at all costs... As many have written, the sole of this boot comes apart after a short period of time. They're only stitched around the front, not all the way around. Poor quality. If you want a boot that lasts a long time, avoid these....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Boots are not waterproof These boots leaked before the 100 day warranty was even up. Been through several pair they all leak water.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Comfort, Great Look, Poor Quality I am a pressure control technician. I work out side all seasons and I have purchased these boots twice. I love the boot's comfort and look but they start to fall apart after 3 months or so. Dakota: Make them more durable and make them waterproof!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable and sturdy boots. I wear these boots while working as a paramedic in a remote area and so far they have been the most comfortable boots I have had. Not to heavy for a females foot either!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Quality, Very Warm These boots are very comfortable and durable. The only complaint I have is they are very heavy and well insulated. I consider them winter work boots as I found them too warm for the summer. But all in all a very good quality boot

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, well made. These boots are very comfortable, and you can tell they are very well made. The only gripe I have with them is they are a touch expensive for a Dakota product, $209 is entering Red Wing territory and I'd imagine a lot of people would opt for Red Wings over Dakotas no matter how good the latter is. That being said I've had Red Wings before and they hurt my feet so this might be a moot point. Bottom line is these boots are really good.
