Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable I'm happy with the boots. I have had them before but purchased a different brand for my last pair and regretted it. These boots are very comfortable, a little on the heavy side but that's my only complaint. I'll be buying another pair when these ones get need replacing. I also got a great deal as they were on sale roughly 35% off

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great design but not comfortable. I bough this and liked the look but had to return it next day because it wasn't comfortable for my back. The weight of the boot is very heavy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable This is the second pair I’ve bought, they fit well and are very comfortable, comfortable enough that I wear them outside of work for outings, walks, sometimes short hikes. I work maintenance so I’m not very hard on them, i have two years on my current pair and plenty of sole left, laces have held up as well. Overall they are a good looking boot and keep me looking professional. Down side is the material on the upper backing that looks like leather is very cheap, has to be the cheapest material out there. It cracks and falls apart after six months. Attached photo is after two years, thankfully gets covered by my pants

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Boots ok, but horrible laces So they seem comfy but afterwork I have to Buy new longer laces for these boots I just bought yesterday. The laces that come with the boot are to short to do all the eyelets, why would you cheap out and put shorter laces is so you can go threw the top two holes.... really???

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort out of the box This is my third pair , the first pair I bought at a thrift store , they were like new so what the heck for $25. They lasted me well over a year and wore them through a second wet season. I was very pleased to see the same style when I looked to buy a new pair at Marks. They are warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I also find them light on my feet. I almost can't wait for this pair to wear out so I can buy a new pair. The current ones are on year two now and are still holding up well and I beat them up badly , the are wet almost every day in the wintertime with outdoor construction work. I always upgrade with after market insoles in all my boots , that makes these even more comfy. I find I can go down a half size in these boots with the EEE width.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They look great BUT... These boots look great and feel alright but the claim that they are not slippery is inaccurate. I walk through slush to enter the warehouse everyday during winter and these boots slip all the way until the bottom is dry!! They don't really need to break in but if I had to rate their comfort level, I would give it a 3. They are hard on your soles and if you are a walker, they will make your feet sore. I had a Dakota quad comfort hiker safety boots pair for 5 years and those things were the most comfortable pair I owned ever. I would buy them again but Marks never manufactured them again. The soles are thick and add extra elevation to you. I am a 6'3" guy and after putting these on, I feel like I have grown a bit more..lol. I will not buy these boots again but they are a decent pair and I would recommend them for sure as an average built pair of safety boots!
