Description

Finding the right clothing for the job is simple with this multi-function, 7-in-1 jacket. Full of comfort features, it has a reversible T-MAX liner that provides maximum insulation while regulating your temperature. The rugged denier polyester fabric stays flexible even in cold and wet conditions so you can focus on the task, not your clothes. Its coated with polyurethane to repel water, and is lined with polyester tricot and taffeta to keep you warm and dry. Two hoods mean you stay warm when you need to or just wear the lightweight concealed hood when you’re working hard. Loads of handy pockets offer plenty of room to stow anything you need close by. The Tech Pocket can easily carry your MP3 player, cell phone or PDA so you can stay plugged in to important calls, or your favourite tunes. It has elastic sleeve cuffs to keep drafts out, bungee cord toggle adjusters at the waist and a drop back hem for extra protection on the back. The hardest thing about this innovative coat is deciding which way you want to wear it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value I purchased this Parka-Jacket-Vest-Coat, or whatever this thing is suppose to be today on sale for $115. It was $184 regular price with the $40 off sale, plus the store had another 20% off. Geez, a brand name hoodie is going to cost near that much. This is an amazing deal if it lasts more than 2 years. Although it's hasn't been cold enough to actually put it to a good test, It sure feels like this jacket will perform well during our cold Alberta winters. If I counted correctly, this thing has 17 pockets in all. I'm definitely going to think I lost something. Lots of vent zippers for cooling down if it gets a bit too warm and lots of options for wearing the shell and liner combinations. If this transformer of a jacket lives up to what Mark's is saying, this could be a hidden gem. They don't come around often, but it sure is satisfying when you find one. I'll check back in the spring and update this review after a full winter. Please post reviews on all of your purchases wherever you make them. It helps everyone purchase quality products at a fair price and helps people from getting ripped off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Psst! Hey Buddy! Wanna Stay Warm in -40? Unfortunately, my local store didn't have my size (or desired colour) in stock --- but I was able to order from the warehouse, and it arrived within a few days. I've only had the opportunity to wear the complete jacket a couple of times - and for what it's worth, it really NEEDS to be a minimum of -20 C in order to wear the full jacket because it's simply THAT warm. Recently, the local temperatures where hovering around -40 C (not including windchill) and I was perfectly warm. Being ex-military, I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the money on this jacket, or invest in a surplus parka - this jacket is as warm as my military gear, and I am pretty sure that it could stand up to the rigors too. The only disappointment is the hood ----- it's far too small and really doesn't afford much in the way of protection. It's supposed to close in the front with velcro (and does) but between cold and moisture freezing on the flaps in the front of the face doesn't make for comfortable movements in the cold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from VERY WARM!!! Purchased in November 2014 in Canada, Ontario, Waterloo for $165. We experienced one of the coldest winters on record and thank God I had this jacket! This jacket is also excellent for wind blocking. My cons: both upper and lower front pockets should be deeper; my wrists were exposed. The Velcro stitching is poor; see picture. The cloth attached to the zipper breaks easily; see picture. My pros: this jacket keeps you warm; it prevents your body heat from escaping. Excellent wind blockage! A lot of pockets. Would I purchased this jacket again? It would really depend on what else was offered. But the stitching quality is definitely poor; I only wore it for four months, approximately, and the stitching is coming apart.
