Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm and comfortable I recently bought these boots and they are the warmest boots I've had. I have owned a few different pairs of Dakota felt pack winter boots and none of them have had the comfort and warmth as these boots.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Thought this boot was the answer after looking at many but became disappointed after a month. One ended up cracking at a bend point and now is not waterproof. The other has a hole somewhere in the sole. Both boots have a odour since wet. These boots were not abused. Wonder how long they would last if put under the test. Found a pair of boots years ago that performed well but they are discontinued.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for winter Bought these last year as my winter work boot. Not clunky or too big to fit my work pants/insulated pants over like some of the more extreme winter boots. Warm and still in good shape, I got size bigger for wool socks for really cold days. Only complaint is the material is a bit stiff and on my left boot actually dug into my foot a bit when I walked, until it broke in a little.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for icy conditions Bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband so that he could still get out walking regardless of the weather and sidewalk conditions. He finds the boots too heavy for this but is keeping them as a winter boot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty nice The heel cracked after a month but I will say I was abusing them. I imagine that if I hadn't abused them, they'd keep my feet dry. They're still very warm (with thick socks). The crud in the soles don't really help traction. When designing this boot, they prioritized comfort over durability. Sole wears rapidly. You won't get much time out of these but you will enjoy every moment.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not waterproof as advertised First heavy snowfall of the year and my feet were soaked. Just before this we had a moderately cold day - 10 and my left foot was cold. These boots are supposed to be rated for -40.
