Rated 1 out of 5 by from not great if you are on your feet a lot Ive had these boots for less than a year now. My job requires me to be on my feet walking for my shift, I work 10 hour shifts. My feet are killing me by the end of my shift. I have bought countless amounts of comfort insoles to help with these boots, but nothings worked. I soon will be getting my years coverage for new boots and will not be getting these again. Not a good boot for jobs that require lots of walking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot I bought these boots about two years ago. I work in a machine shop so I was looking for a dark coloured boot because I knew they would get dirty and oily. They are comfy, which is good cause I work 12 hour shifts. I haven't really had too big of problems with them yet. The laces are starting to get worn out now, and may break any day. I noticed the other day that some of the sole is getting worn out and breaking off. I actually went back for another pair today, but unfortunately the don't sell my size anymore and you can't even order in my sized at the moment. Which sucks, cause now I'm going to have to buy something else. Having small feet sucks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so great quality I will agree that it's fairly comfortable. However, I only wear these indoors (warehouse work). And still the ankle was ripped after just 3 months. I expected better workmanship for the price it's sold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall a good boot I wore these boots every day all summer working forestry. What had me sold when trying them on was how incredibly comfortable they were (tons of padding and you can't feel the steel toe on the top of your foot, unlike many other models), and I haven't got a single blister or hotspot wearing them. They're also great in that they resemble a hiking boot: they have great ankle support, sole grip, and are not too heavy, and I was super comfy walking dozens of miles a day on uneven, slippery terrain. The only downside I can think of is that they are less than ideal to wear in even slightly wet conditions -- even with waterproofing treatment and gators, they soaked up water like sponges. The mesh-y parts are a bit worn after a season, but not enough to say they're damaged. Overall, would recommend!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I purchased this type of boot less than 2 years ago in the tan color and at a different price. They felt quite comfortable and the break in period was quick and painless. I had worn them perhaps five or six times until I started working at a golf course this June (2015). Then it was every day 8 - 9 hours a day in all kinds of weather and terrain. They stay relatively dry with protection/sealer applications. I mean they aren't rubber boots after all. Despite the beating they receive, I work hard at taking care of them. This morning I picked them up to apply another coat of protection only to find that the soles of the boots are coming apart. I'll be bringing them to a shoemaker and hope he can glue them back together. It's a nice looking boot, a very comfortable one, but very disappointed that they may not last me one season of work wear.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overall a fair boot, not the greatest quality I would only recommend these workbooks for the fact that they are SO incredibly comfortable. I wore bandaids on my heels for the first week of my job to avoid any chance of blisters but the break-in time was great. Other 6" boots I tried on in-store were terribly painful so I bought these for the comfort. They also look cute on, as they are black and quite stylish. My complaint would be the quality, as the ankles started pulling apart after 2 months on the job. The reason for this is they are made with a mesh material as opposed to leather. It wasn't just at the seam where it was ripping, but the threads of the whole mesh itself loosened and pulled apart such that I could not stitch it back together. I have attached pictures to show the damage after 2 months. The other thing that I would mention is that water soaks in quite easily if walking in wet grass, and they take a couple days to dry. If thinking of buying these boots, I would recommend spraying with leather waterproofing before wearing, and maybe applying a boot sealer along where the toe joins to the sole. Possibly also consider reinforcing the ankle stitching so it has less of a chance of pulling apart. Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere for a better boot.
