    Awesome boots

My last pair of Dunlops lasted me 10 years (worn every winter and spring) until they finally devolved invisible leaks , best pair of boots I've ever had for Northern Sask. winters ( dipping down to -45 at times ) , Little pricey but totally well worth the money ,

Used in -37 (non wind chill temp)

I purchased this boot in Jan 2019 and have used it for 2 winter seasons. I am an oiler, on the ground and cover a lot of ground. I use in conjunction with Bama and driWear insert footwear and is comfortable and warm till about -20. After -20, unless you are walking your feet will get cold unless you use the toe shaped heat packs similar to the glove inserts. This boots have had 2 seasons of abuse and are still in good shape. I have been warned by other users to never use these boots to kick at thingsm because you will notice the mold seam is directly down the middle of the boot. I avoid kicking with the toe and these boots still look near new except for a couple of scuffs.

    Pros:
    Stows Easily,
    Easily Cleaned,
    Good Construction,
    Easy To Assemble
    Cons:
    Heavy,
    Bulky
    Fit
    Fits big

    Warm, Light, Comfortable

I've been using these Dunlop boots since Mark's first got them in over 10 years ago. I'm a surveyor in the oilfield and have tried many types of boots. I have tried a pair of similar "wanna be Dunlops" but they didn't come close to the real Dunlops. These are the lightest, warmest, most flexiable and most comfortable boots out there in my opinion. I wear them all year round and although they keep you warm in the winter, with the way they push the air around inside they are still very comfortable in the summer. I can easily get 2-3 years out of a pair and even then, the only issue is the toe starts to split in the very front. Yes they are expensive, but I no longer need a summer and winter pair of boots so for me the cost balances itself out. Get them on sale and you can even save a few bucks.

    Pros:
    Lightweight,
    Easily Cleaned,
    Good Construction
    Fit
    Fits true to size

    Top of the line boot

This is the best boot I have ever purchased. Snug fitting, comfortable and still easy to remove. I like that there are no laces and no bulky upper section to pull snow pants over top. There is zero chance of water penitration in rain or melting slush and mud. I can't wait to push my snow blower around to check out those huge grips and see how warm my feet stay. I live on an acreage outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba where there is plenty of snow and - 40, - 50 C weather. I'm sure they will hold up to the test. You get what you pay for.

    Excellent boots

This is my second set of Dunlops, had the green ones previously. These are definitely an upgrade over the Green Puroforts. These actually have a proper footbed and the Vibram sole is far more durable. Have pretty much worn these every day for a year now, stopped buying leather steel toe work boots as these work for me all year (industrial pressure washing is what I do). Looks like I will get over 2 years of usage out of these before I replace them. Remember with this type of boot the key to making them last is to not kick stuff with the toe, that will put a hole in them.

    Best winter boots EVER!

These boots are sweet. Ive used them for about a month now up at work. (Heavy Equipment operator) -25-40ish about and I feel no cold EVER, i just used regular white socks and my feet are always warm AND dry, "dry" being the key word here when outside in the snow or wet cold water. Cold wet feet make life miserable, its all you can think about when your feet are wet with other boots before. But not with these Explorer STSP Vibram PU Boots. Pretty easy to drive in or use foot controls and pedals in equipment as they flex very very well. The grip on ice is pretty good too but im thinking about getting some studs for them though for the ice. Also nice that they slip on and off in a second as well. Only thing i would add to them if i designed them would be a hard plastic cap over the toe so you can kick things if need be. Simple too clean, spray with water and wipe. Other than that, these are THE boots you want for winter work!!! Got them for an awesome price before Christmas when they had the big sale going on!! Think it was $220 to my door with free shipping.

A great boot made even better with the Vibram sole

My previous pair of Dunlop Purofort lasted 3 years before developing a hidden leak. Just hope that I get the same or better life out of this pair. This time I went +1 on my size and bought the Bama booties to wick moisture from my feet
