NOT INSULATED, NOT WARM!
I have worn these boots for two days while working outdoors in the cold and they are NOT at all insulated like they advertise. I was weary when I first looked at them and tried them on, but a sales person assured me that even without a liner they were insulated so I bought them online (they didn’t have my size in store). Well as I thought they are not, and my feet are freezing all day.
I work outdoors all day long and needed a pair of boots that were steel toed, waterproof, light and warm. They fit each of those categories except warm and that makes them pointless to wear for work. I am very disappointed that these boots are advertising “insulated to -20” and if you need boots that keep your feet warm these are not the ones.
I’m not sure what to do because I have worn them twice and the return says “unworn”; however I believe that this is a manufacturer defect as they are not what is advertised!!

i love and hate them
They are ok boots, not the warmest but ok, and they are slippery. i live on the coast and go in the intertidal area and i know its slippery but again other wayyy cheaper boots have way less issues, my other problem is i have had a lot of boots and have been able to repair all of them, these boots will not let anything stick to them. they are tough but i got a cut from a sharp stick in the forest on the inner side of my right foot by the ankle. this has not been able to be fix making the boots useless as gumboots. i have tried shoe goo, rubber tire repairs, and another type of shoe repair epoxy. all have peeled off and the boots are durable so they are scratch resistant to a wire brush to help adhere. also once i wore them for a week or two i got a callus on my big toes and they were comfy from then on. last note, i looked through about 5 pairs (no help from the employees ill add!) they had a manufacture defect at the top rim of the boot at the front closest point to your knee cap, they all had a slice from what im assuming was a factory cutter or something because it was the same on all the boots, i returned one set and called another store to get one without the cut,, talked to a Rep at the store and was told to come and the pair he handed me had a cut!! I am realizing writing this maybe i shouldnt have bought the boots at all. good luck with your choice,
