+4000hrs With Only 1 Month Wear and Tear

I put over 4000 working hours on these boots and they look like they're a month or so old. I was doing food processing and cleaning. The work was icy, oily, wet, and hot. The boots were extremely warm (-30C) even without thick socks but were sometimes a bit too warm in hotter enviroments. The grip on these boots is very confidence inspiring and easily cleaned. Ankle support is superb and I never felt at risk of a sprain. The boots are still waterproof and comfortable. They never break in and feel the same as the day I bought them so make sure they're comfortable to you. I also recommend replacing the cheap insoles that are included.

These boots are notorious for splitting around the toe but this is caused by the wearer or the use case. If you're going to be putting any kind of impact on the toe whether it be from kicking, dropping things on it, or anything else you'd be wasting your money on these boots. If you do, the material will give way and can expose the steel toe or plate in the sole and they no longer will have the same warmth or safety.

These boots are great in certain applications such as snowmobiling, walking in very wet environments, refrigerated warehousing, blowing snow, oily environments, etc. Just don't damage the toe!

    Pros:
    Easily Cleaned,
    Good Construction
    Cons:
    Heavy

    Poor quality

Boots are ok to keep feet warm, but as another person mentioned the seam at the toe on the front of the boot lets go.

I am working on 5th pair. The last 3 pairs have let go at the toe. Previous 2 pairs was at the arch of the boot on the sole I am lucky to get 3mths out of them in the winter. Definitely need to find another comparable pair at a better price.

    2. You're on pair number 5?? Why on earth would you buy pair #2 not to mention 3,4, and 5 if the boots are of a garbage quality? Something doesn't sound right

Exactly as reviewed - comfortable and warm

I've had my Dunlops for two years, worn thru summer and winter with Bama socks. They are a little heavy (I don't mind - seriously they are a working winter boot, what'd ya expect?!) and I have heard others complain (about all rubber boots) they rubbed on their calves, not an issue for me. The toe did give out (plate came thru) after some wear, however that is likely because I'd kick the mud or snow off before climbing into a vehicle (lesson learned). I used shoe goo once to close the little gap and it worked for a long time (about eight months I think) however it's time to replace them and really - for what I've put them thru I certainly can't complain that I did not get my money's worth! If the 'toe' thing is an ongoing issue, I hope the manufacturers' will have a closer look and figure out how to make that part more durable, however still going with these as they are a great boot.

    Great boots

I've had these for three winters now, and do construction. I have seen some of the negative reviews, and am guessing the folks that have had problems with them really work them harder than I. They are not miracle boots, but I think they will outlast any other similar boot in similar situations. I expect 2-4 more years out of these boots. They are very hard to drive in,, but I love them.

    Lightweight

    Great winter/spring boot

Great boot for winter wear in Alberta. Work in civil/heavy commercial construction doing formwork and this boot is great.

Need a boot liner insole to help with the warmth and comfort, but otherwise good. These things make your feet SWEAT so a change of socks will help keep your feet dry regularly. Great in snow, ice, cold water, mud, rain. Use them all winter and on summer rainy days. Great on the farm too.
