Description

From Helly Hansen, these BIVY winter boots are built tough and ready for frigid weather. They feature Helly Tech® waterproof and breathable technology. The removable heat-moldable technical liner system is cold rated to minus 50 degrees Celsius. These boots are easy to get on thanks to the pull loops at the back.

HEAT-MOLDABLE TECHNICAL LINER SYSTEM

Molding these liners to your unique feet is easy. Put the boot liner inside the boot. Place a preheated microwaveable heat bag inside the boot liner, pushing it right up to the toe area. Leave it in the boot liner for 5 minutes. Remove the heated pack and pull on the boot, lacing it up snugly. Keep the boot on for a further 5 minutes. Alternatively, heat the boot liner by blowing hot air into the liner using a hair dryer for 3-5 minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Flexible w/ warm liners & Helly Tech is HH version of Gore Tex. These boots run small, try them in store first. I wear 8.5/9 shoes and the size 10 boot fits perfect.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Split on the first use I bought a pair of these and wore them for one night of snow shovelling. By the end, i could feel weight shifting in the boots and they started to squeak with every step. They were clearly taking on water. Turned out the sole had separated, the grey sole is just glued to the black upper along a tiny surface area. Returned them. Shame, they were very comfortable to wear all night, and very warm! Note: buy a size up, I'm normally a US 11 and had to get US 12 in these - the lining is very thick. Not impressed for the price of them!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not very sturdy but very warm I have owned these boots for 3 years. I might get another year out of them. The are not durable. Two of the lace hooks have popped off or broken and the nylon uppers have cracked/torn at the ball of the foot from repeated toe flexion. They are maybe worth the sale price but certainly not the regular price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Boots Are Not Waterproof Wore these boots for about 4 hours and they are not water proof. Liners were wet which made my feet cold at 1 degrees celcius.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredibly warm! I’ve had these boots a few months now. Bought the wind river versions on clearance. If you have cold feet at all, these are crazy warm. I’ve struggled with cold feet forever not thinking I could find comfortable and non-bulky boot but these are great. easy to drive in also. I was also surprised by how light these are. Can’t comment on the long term durability but haven’t had an issue so far. I sized up from my normal 10 to 11. With a pair of wool socks, it’s almost too warm.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not water proof I bought this a month ago.. v warm and comfortable but not water proof anymore, although make says it’s water proof. If I want something non waterproof then this one is fine but if u want waterproof don’t buy this product. Badly disapointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots These boots were Windriver brand last season but identical boot. Used them for around 6 weeks last winter in -30 to -40. Still in perfect condition. Super comfortable. Never had cold feet yet I also found I could sit in a warm airport for a couple of hours with them and not overheat. They aren't the most attractive boot as it's a soft fabric that gets folds in it when the boots are tightened but a small price to pay. Fits under jeans. I will be buying another pair if the are still made by then.
