Description

Gear up for work or your next outdoor expedition with the men’s Jasper parka from Helly Hansen. The men’s jacket features Helly Tech® protection, which guards against the wind and rain without trapping perspiration on the inside. Details like fully sealed seams, a storm placket and wrist gaiters help to keep moisture from entering even through small gaps, while lightweight Synthetic Excelloft insulation provides impressive warmth. Large exterior pockets with flap closure keep essentials easily accessible, while an interior chest pocket provides secure storage for small items. The parka’s comfortable adjustable hood is topped with faux fur for added warmth and contrast, and the fur can be easily removed during wet weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Stylish and Warm i was very hesitant of buying this jacket at first because of the price and how light weight it is, but i can tell you now this is the warmest and best jacket i have, i own many other brands of jackets like calvin klien, michael kors, colombia, northface etc. that are alot heavier and thicker but none of them keep me warm enough where i can wear a shirt under and be hot outside in the storm, its insane i dont regret buying this jacket at all its superr thin and yet keeps you warm. if you are hesitant on purchasing this jacket, buy it its really worth it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As warm as roomy. How much roomier? L is XL! Let me, as a HH lover, compare this jacket with HH Dubliner Jacket. It is one size bigger than the regular HH sizing rules. Sleeves are too long. And what is really makes me frustrated is the construction of the hood - the collar is missing at all. The hood extends toward the front. What I like are weight and warmness. I do confirm that the insulation named 170 G/M² SYNTHETIC EXCELLOFT is much warmer than 100 G/M2 BLACK LOFT. I GOT A SWEATING RIGHT AWAY without anything underneath. So this type of insulation makes the Jasper Parka as warm as 700 Power Fill of Duck Down. I am serious. I always wear a Large. And for now, I am confused. Should I exchange it to the M size or keep it? Because exchanging takes my time and money. As a recommendation to the MARK'S, I would like to see the more important information than the emotional reviews or what size the guy wears in the picture, but what size of the chest of the model in the picture. Please provide me with the essential info, otherwise, the purchase made online looks like an experiment or a play in LOTTO.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and stylish Recently purchased this coat for the nice Edmonton January weather. Nice and light much better than my heavy down coat. Love it. The inside pocket is well disguised, the fur fringe I found was annoying but comes off by simply unbuttoning it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this coat I bought this coat mainly because it was on sale at a great price. I'm so glad I did. Great fit and I love how you can customize the hood fit. Really great at keeping the wind out at work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Price My only issue was that the price I paid online was more expensive than what the tag was labeled as it was on sale cheaper. I did take it into the store at kenaston and a wonderful employee named Michelle helped me and adjusted my price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stylish and warm. I bought this a few days ago and find it every bit as warm as my old jacket that comfortably saw me through winter in Edmonton last year. This jacket fits me better and has a nicer look. The hood is very snug fitting and I'm not yet sold on the fur ruff. It seems rather long and gets in my eyes easily. Might just need a trim. My only real complaint is the total lack of inside pockets. They say there is one, but it's a hidden zipper on the inside of the storm flap. Otherwise it's a bare interior. This is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Stuff. Off The Hook. This jacket is actually too warm. When the storm hit Toronto I wore it and was very warm and cozy and I haven't been wearing it even in subzero temperature (especially with the windchill factor). I've just been wearing other jackets until I find the need to wear this one. Mind you that I do layer, I do have a nice sweater on and I find myself sweating outside with this jacket. Not to mention that the jacket is actually very fashionable and looks much better than what is pictured. It seems that the model is wearing a size too big or something. It has ample pockets. The one to put your hands in feels really nice, and there are two other pockets that you can use to store your gloves and hat that have two buttons each. The inside pocket is actually a work of ingenuity. It was moved from the inside to the side where that flap (don't know what it is actually called) that is meant to break the wind from entering through the zipper line (I think) closes in on the zipper. I thought the reason for this was to not have to unzip the jacket and freeze your bum (i.e. body) while trying to get to the inside pocket. Not sure if I'm explaining it clearly but you will understand what I'm saying when you get it, or at least check it out. The end result: The inside pocket is not actually on the inside, just tucked away (hidden by the "flap") and is very accessible otherwise. Anywhoo, I actually didn't want to get this particular jacket I had intended to purchase the Tromsoe but the branch I went to didn't have it but for some reason I bit the bullet and bought this one instead (as opposed to buying the Tromsoe online or something). How glad am I?! Pretty Glad I got this one. "I'm Lovin' it".
