Whew! what a relief.
These boots are exceptionally light. Metal free, I found that quite warm last year too.
This is my second set... and not because the others wore out, but just to have two to allow one set to dry out before reusing it again.
You likely will need to put a set of insoles you like inside though....as with most shoes and boots these days. Also, if the boots get wet outside, the light leather goes dark over time. A set of shoe trees great practice.
I give these boots a 9 out of 10.

decent boots
Bought these two years ago and they held up ok. finally split just behind the toe piece and sole. comfortable to walk in and light. the tread held up much better than I thought it would. I work in the rail industry as a mechanic and used these year round on cement floors and sharp ballast. Going to find a second pair!

Great quality lightweight boot for warm weather.
Great spring/summer/fall boot. You'll need something heavier for deep winter.
I'm a plumber. I do a lot of walking in a day so it's nice that the boot is light. Bought the previous model of this boot three years ago. The insole wore out after two years, but it was easy enough to find a generic replacement.
The old boot is still in tact but the treads are worn out making them slippery and they're no longer water proof, which is why I have replaced them. All and all can't complain, three years is great quality. The boots that shipped are pretty much identical to that previous model.

Great boot but just NOT waterproof!
This is a great boot for me as a delivery driver but it is not waterproof as is claimed! good traction and quite light. great for general use.

Not good for construction
I bought these for work in industrial construction. They offer no ankle support and are very flexible, good for hiking i suppose but not for standing on concrete all day. They also have very little cushioning. I would strongly recommend spending an extra 30$ at Marks on a pair of Dakotas or Terras.
