Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent boot, double check sizing I bought these a little while ago and so far so good. The insulation is very puffy to start, so they are very snug, that calms a little as you wear them. I am a 10.5 in my Merrell s in these I'm a 12, so double check that. I also found that the cinch at the top works well, kept the snow out of my boot playing with the kids the other day. I have not tested them in extreme cold yet, but they have been warm in a blustery -20C. Great value on sale, not sure I would pay full price (I might, but not 100%)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WARM boot! Warmest boots I've ever owned. Huge external size, can't put snow pants over them, and the sole is really thick as well. Very light, they weigh half as much as my Sorels. Super comfy liner wraps your foot and feels so soft compared to the old white cotton/wool liners. They fit wayyyyyyy small. I normally would be ok in a men's 10. I needed these in a 12, wearing normal socks. Been wearing them daily for a month and they don't seem to be loosening up so seems like the liner doesn't expand much. The traction additive on the sole is amazing. The tiny bits of metal dig right in and make it much nicer to walk on icey snow, but if you go break traction they will keep sliding. They're not crampons.... You don't notice it walking on concrete. Unsure of the long term durability of the metal bits in the sole. Hopefully it's embedded in the sole and not just one layer on the sole. Great boot. (Especially getting it on sale for $105 in Jan 2019)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from really warm These boots are very comfy and warm and light weight. I use them to shovel and walk the dog and even wearing them barefoot in -25 they are very warm. My son has a pair that he wear ice fishing and also finds them very warm. They didnt have women version so I bought a men's but i had to change them for one size up. They are sized smaller than usual. They are light yet bulky, feels like moon boots.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks really sturdy and warm but fits narrow Fits narrow. Usually wear a size 13 but ordered a size 14 to fit a couple pairs of hunting socks. When they arrived the width was tight with just a single pair of sport socks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tried them on ice but didn't find much difference Bought these boots a couple of weeks ago and just recently tried them on ice that was covered with light snow. I didn't notice much diffence from my Kodiaks that had no additional gripping compound embedded in them. Nice light, warm, boots however. They run a bit small length and width wise, too. I would still recommend these boots but perhaps they might give people false confidence on ice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent price on Black Friday! Warm Comfortable The first thing that surprised me was how light these boughts are, and still very warm and comfortable. I bought one size bigger than my summer shoes (as recommended) and they fit great. Very comfortable and so far in -10 they have been very warm. They have a thick bottom sole with a decnt tread pattern for grip in snow and they also have some type of "ice grip" technology inbedded in the grips for better traction on ice. I haven't "tested" them on ice yet but the winter has just begun :) They are a bit wide around the top preventing my snowmobile pants from zippering up completely, but they are wide enough to easily tuck the pants inside and use the drawstring to clinch it closed to keep most snow out. The real test is in the longevity, and how they hold up through the winter. But so far so good.
