Bad for winter weather

Great boot overall, but if your feet perspire, be prepared to change your socks once or more times, especially if you use it in the wintertime. these dont breath at all. Not good on any type of winter ice, no traction. Waterproof, good insulation and durable. NOT breathable at all. 26 years of wearing CATs 2 pairs a year ,I've had my share.

Breaking in period is rough

Bought these boots (same brand and style i have been using for past 20yrs). First two days were extremely rough on back of heel, friction with socks made walking very uncomfortable. 3rd day was better. Ill hope 4th day boots are almost worn in enough to form to my foot, but ive never experienced this type of pain ever with CAT boots that again...ive worn solely for past 20yrs...will update next week

Consultant just bought a pai

I just bought these. 3 hours ago. I work as a consultant and have been using merrell boabs since last year. Comfortable enough for mild winters and general use but this year it's been cold and my feet have been suffering. Tried these on in the store with my winter socks and my feet started to warm up. A good sign for my needs. Insulated, ctcp and waterproof with a comfortable fit for me. No, I have no idea if they will last. I am hard on foot wear in general. I walk a few miles in work boots. My moabs have been relegated to fair weather needs, and this will be my winter pair. I can imagine my feet being toastywarm with my heated insoles and socks. A big change for me. The price is up there. If they last, totally worth it for warm and dry feet.

Low quality and overpriced

I always had it in my head that Cat boots were of good quality but always found them to be expensive. Finally got a pair of these and have been thoroughly disappointed!! Within 2 months I was replacing insoles every month in hopes to not have feet that were so sore by the end of the day I could barely stand on them. At about the 6 month point they started to fall apart inside. It's been 1 year and I've limped them through the last couple months, Seems to be hard to find boots that last 1 year from Marks. Daily use Mon-Fri in an automotive repair shop. For $300 and Cat brand I expected more

Best boot for the money

These boots are great, they’re comfortable, durable and they last years! I was working in construction, I wore these boots for two seasons, then my boyfriend was in a jam and needed a new pair so I gave him my boots to get him by, he wore them for another three years as a diesel mechanic, a profession which typically chews through boots once a year if not more due to the oils and chemicals they’re exposed to. The only downfall to these boots are that they are heavy. You get used to it after awhile, but the first little bit I found my knees sore due to doing a lot of walking. That is totally worth it in my opinion, I recommend these boots to everyone.

Yes, I recommend this product.
