I have been wearing this boot forest thinning for better than a dozen years. With quality gaiters on top we walk around in a 6 to 12 inches of snow all day and take off our boots in the evening to be greeted by dry socks every time. I recommend to all winter crew members. Lightweight, not too hot, never cold, always a great grip. I wear a thin cotton undersock and a mid-weight wool blend outer sock. I always buy wide.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every year for as long as I can remember, I purchase a pair of new boots for work. Yes work. It's not always about climbing mountains, hiking the hills and trails. It's also about comfort. When construction calls, I see it as an easy choice. If I can climb Everest or hike hocking hills in these boots, then it makes work a cake walk in my Bugaboot III Columbias for construction. I can do it All wearing the same boot :)

I bought these boots and I am so glad I did. They are extremely comfortable to wear to work as a work boot. I had a hard time finding a comfortable work boot and these fit the bill. I am on my feet for 8 hours a day and most other boots I tried made my feet hurt after only a few hours, but not these. I can go all day and I don't feel like I have to rush home and take them off at the end of the day. They are also slip resistant which is what my company requires me to wear. I work in a supermarket where the floors are hard and they really help in that respect. I measure size 11 and I got an 11.5 because I like a little extra room. I feel the 11 may have been a little tight. I also like the waterproof feature for when I have to wash the floor in my department with a hose. The height of the boot also provides great ankle support when you're on your feet all day. Overall these are great boots. I recommend for that extra comfortable feel go 1/2 size up.
