Lace hooks are cheap

The shoe is comfortable but it’s hard to like them when the cheap plastic lace hooks break after a few weeks of wear.

Plastic lace hooks

Toe guard peeled off pretty quickly, but the main issue was the lace hooks, snapped one by one until they were no good (and that's after 6 months). Tried to get in touch with Keen, but no response from them. Noticed they still look plastic so nothing'd changed. Would not recommend, would not buy Keen again...

Very Comfortable

Great boots, very comfortable, I'm on my second pair. Highly recommend. Although, the sole of my current pair wasn't glued properly and is peeling off on one boot. Still within the 100 day warranty period but I hate to have to return them because they are currently out of stock everywhere. I don't want to have to switch brand or style.

Stinky boots!

[Employee of marks] Not a bad boot, I like the style, fit and feel. But I’m done with keen! Second pair of keens and both have developed quite the smell. These only took 2 to 3 months to really start stinking. 20 + years in the trades and I’ve never had stinky feet or boots until my last two pairs of keens. It’s a shame as I really do like the boots I’ve had but I’m switching to something else next time.

Hit and miss.

I purchased these boots previously a year ago and they were great. Held up to hard use. However, this second time around the back pinched my ankle and the toe spacing was to small. I purchased the same size. I had to return them. The return went smoothly.
Unfortunately the sizing isn't always going to be accurate. It's a shame because originally they were great. Work on your quality control.

- A: KEEN Utility uses a EE (Wide) toebox and protective toe cap on all of its safety footwear regardless of whether the boot is a D Width (Regular) or EE Width (Wide) size.
