Felt full grain polished leather, turned suede

The shoes felt like full grain leather which would not absorb dust or water but when these came they are suede like feeling and a drop of water fell and was absorbed , so they sneaker is not what I had hoped. I have had other timberland sneakers/ shoes in the past and I wanted to come back to them again and try this one but I am disappointed that they do not make any non suede shoe in this style , these felt like one but aren’t .

One Step at a time..

Looking for a high top casual sneaker that was weather resistant for walking. The Timbs were on sale and available in my size. So far, so okay. I may need more cushioning - old feet. I purchased a pair of chukka boots from Skecher's that are my comfort standard. The Timbs are a 3 of 5 for comfort. All the other markers are excellent. Early days but they're a good buy at the sale price. Cheers.

Absolutely love these. They are my go to running errands. Very comfortable and a large enough toe area that it doesn't cram your toes together.
