Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable and lite weight This would be my 4th time buying these boots. They fit a little wider in the toe cap area. Great support. Very comfortable right out of the box. Light weight compared to other boots. They look good. On the down side. I would use oil or boot polish to help make them more water resistant. The duribility of the boot is average. The laces they come with are kind of cheap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort and lightweight Great boot that has comfort out of box and is lightweight for those long days. Tried many boots on and this one really works for me. I was glad to see Marks still sell them. Had to leave an opinion this time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Priced right for a Canadian made boot I like the old school look of the boot without all the fancy little things of alot of brands. Compared to Timberlands on fit and feel these were better and at this price for a Canadian made product it was a no brainer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Proudly Canadian These boots lasted me five years in the forests of provincial and national parks. Over this time they have been my go to boot. I lace these up from the moment I wake up to the moment I crawl into my tent after days of rough hiking to the job sites in remote locations. I require not only durability but comfort as well as I essentially live in these boots; I have swam on more than a few occasions in these things. Sadly they have recently succumbed to the ware and tare over the years and were replaced with this model again. My issue with my old pair is the sole has separated from the boot, likely from all of the wet conditions and rough terrain, and the rubber sole has cracked mid foot. Despite these issues these boots are a great Canadian product. After the time I have clocking in these things they do not owe me a nickel. I feel I have received more than enough from these boots and have nothing but positive things to say. I have had more expensive boots give me a lot less ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long Lasting, Comfortable for Daily Use. I've owned this style of boot for almost 10 years now. Generally every two years I need to buy a new pair, but I get a lot of use out of them. Often I wear them 6 days a week for work. I've used them for everything from sun and rain, winter and summer, mud and concrete, etc. Most of my work days are 8-10 hours long and I'm normally still comfortable by the end of the day. I find that it helps a lot to invest in a good set of thick work socks with these boots, and i invested in some insoles as well to help with my back. I would also definitely recommend getting them sprayed with a water repellant because I've had wet feet a few times, but nothing unexpected from your average work boot. The laces that come with the boot are cheap and generally break within a few months. I've replaced them with the DAKOTA Nomex Heavy Duty laces and have had a much better experience with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long lasting, Comfortable, Canadian Made Quality! These boots are by far the most comfortable work boots I have ever owned straight out of the box. They are comfortable in the summer warm in the winter when coupled with a good pair of wool socks. The soles are long lasting and flexible in the cold. Like any work boot, you have to be careful if you come in from outside with snow on the boot and walk on concrete... She's a little bit slippery the first few steps! I would suggest treating the boots with mink oil, or a waterproofing protectant to keep the leather soft at the tow flex point and prevent the leather cracking. This is the only problem I have had with these boots, but that was only after a year of use and neglect. If these boots are taken care of they last a long time, and unlike a lot of other boots the stitching and the soles do not easily wear out or fall apart. The other suggestion is the put a epoxy toe cap on them, the rubber toe cap on these is a relatively recent addition to the boots by the manufacturer, and I cannot comment on its durability. After putting a epoxy toe cap on on mine ($30), the toe is almost indestructible. Buy these boots! They can not be beat in my opinion for comfort, durability and quality. And the are Canadian made to boot! ... Sorry, bad pun.
