Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fall apart easily Have owned them for 2-months (moderate use as walking boots in the city) and they are already falling apart. Outer sole is detaching from middle sole, heel is coming apart, and stitching is popping out. They look great but the quality is terrible. I would not buy these again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good look, bad quality Yes, this boots look great. I liked them a lot through the first months I had them. But after a year and a half, they are totally worn out. Stitches in several parts of the boots are worn out and the unions between the leather and the sole are already torn in different spots. And this is not from tough outdoor usage, just from normal urban usage. Of course, consumer service at Timberland told me "there's nothing we can do" when I called asking about it. Bottom line, now I know I should shop Timberland for style, not for quality and durability.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sole falls apart easily The tread has 3 layers for no reason. They want to separate from each other soon after purchase if you wear them often and expose them to weather and regular rural life. The leather is great and they are very comfortable which is why I didnt give 1 star. All they need to do is have one layer for the tread and the problem would be solved.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great boot but runs big The style of this boot is great, but they run very large. My son wears a 13/14 but the 12 was even to large. Had to go down 2 sizes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from They won't last I wore these a lot for the first 8 months after getting them. Though the air-filled heels burst on the left foot. And the rubber soles wore down and lost their grip pretty quickly. After about a year and a half, these boots are basically destroyed. I haven't worn them in a few months since I got new leather shoes and decided to pull them out to wear, only to find the interior pad had detached from the base of the interior of the shoe. These are basically unwearable. I loved these shoes but they just didn't last as long as they should for the price they were. And I did take care of them with all the leather kit stuff, so it wasn't an issue of care. I just am disappointed they didn't last, they were great while they worked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These boots survived a hundred mosh pits I owned these boots for a good six or seven years now. I am a seasoned metalhead, a hiker and not a particularly careful person, and i wore these boots for probably 30% of those years alongside with sneakers and sandals. These boots are not ideal for biking or wading through water, although both are doable in them. I have however hiked mountains, marched through blizzards, braved landslides and gone to the opera in these babies. They braved the moshpits of children of bodom, five finger death punch, amon amarth, blind guardian, death angel and others, many many many others. These boots are the single best pair of footwear i have ever owned. After seven years however the soles did get completely worn down and the leather started ripping on the edges of the toe and the heel started coming off of on one of them. So i put them on a wooden raft, soaked them in gasoline and gave them a viking burial. Will buy my next pair as a gift to myself for christmas. 10/10 would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had this pair a long time I've had my pair of of Earthkeepers for a few years now and I love them. I've worn them so much that the treads are almost worn out and it's about time to replace them. My feet do not get tired or sore feeling after wearing for long periods of time. My feet also don't get that hot and sweaty feeling. They're great to wear out into the field to muck around in the dirt or go out in with jeans or khakis on. I had to.put anlittle shoe goo on the front of one of the soles last year and it's still holding strong. The leather now has that nice worn look and the laces are still great, no fraying.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fashion of Function I use this boot only for when I need a good looking boot on my foot. Any time I need to walk a lot or need a comfortable boot, these will not be on my foot. I really like the grippyness of the soles, the look and feel of the boot but the cons outweigh the pros. The soles wear out fairly quickly, the leather is thin and doesn't provide a lot of warmth protection. They have held up in terms of water resistance/proof but I don't expect it to last much longer. I'm sorry Timberland but I had to be honest in this review and share with everyone that this boot is far more fashionable that function. Check out Redwing boots for something that will have function and fashion.
