Rated 2 out of 5 by from A comfortable boot but for a limited time only Let me start by saying I'm a woman who wears men's work boots because my feet are a men's 7. I heard about the Timberland Pro series from multiple men saying the comfort was like no other. I decided with this boot because it did not have a steel safety toe, it had the built in toe cap, and it was 8 inches. Pros: The comfort of the boot was there from the beginning, a bit heavy, but that never bothered me. No break in period with these. I do a lot of walking every day and never experienced any foot fatigue. The insulation kept my feet warm through the winter months if I wore a good pair of socks. My work environment is oil sands construction. I wore these in mud and snow, and on ice, concrete, hard ground with no discomfort. Cons: The waterproof material didn't hold up very long without treating the boots with something Multiple seams have torn, there is a hole in the back of one boot, the leather is cracked a lot by the toe, and what was once a very comfortable has given me blisters and caused a lot of soreness in my feet. I think because of how much walking I do I stretched these boots out much quicker than others would. These would be great for someone who is standing at a work bench or operating a piece of equipment in a position they're walking 50% of the time at work. I believe the anti fatigue sole is a game changer because I never experienced soreness in the arch or heel of my feet where they would normally become sore. Unfortunately I will have to replace these boots after only 6 months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great (Outdoor) Boots I bought these for their advertised comfort level, and the brand that I know and trust makes great footwear for my new job within a yogurt/cheese factory.. These are waterproof with vibram toe and foot plates (That I correctly guessed would not retain a temperature (So if it's cold where I job, the plating isn't cold, thus my feet are not cold)), as well as a ridiculous looking traction print, and inner padding that I hoped would help me through my 11 hours shifts.. Traction print doesn't do anything on a concrete floor with yogurt/fruit/sugar mix... So I still need to watch my step.. After 8 hours, the padding makes no difference, and my feet start to bother.. This particular pair that I have though does have a construction fault, where there is a hole somewhere in the layers, that allows an air pocket to make it'self known as you walk... Which may now be the cause of a water logged smell that has slowly crept up over the past month... So watch for that... Otherwise, these boots are flipping amazing! Feet run over by a 3k lb lift or pallet jigger; Didn't notice.. Kicking pallets around; No problem, no damage.. Heavy water hose spraying my foot; Feet still dry.. Cold floor; What is this "cold" you talk about? I'm happy, and even impressed with the overall quality of the footwear.. I just have a bad pair with a hole on the side of one boot.. I'll bring them into the store next weekend to replace for the exact same pair... NP.. If your job is in snow/ice outdoors, I totally recommend.. On a factory floor? No more than 8 hours or buy some doc-scholz with your boots.. Enjoy and work happy! :D

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Work boots I've owned This is my second pair of these boots. The first pair lasted 3 years of heavy, hard industrial use in all seasons. They are by far the most comfortable boot I've owned with no break in period. Lace em up and go to work!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3rd Pair I'll cut to the chase. Expensive ? YUP. Comfortable ? YUP. Durable ? YUP. Worth the money ? DEFINITELY. Best boots I've ever used and I've been wearing work boots for 35 years. It's like walking on a cushion. Feet stay nice and toasty in the Canadian winter. Very durable. I don't mind paying for quality and these are the real deal.
