Description

For top-notch weather protection in temperatures as low as -25°C, this Viking Trizone jacket has an outer Stormblaster hood system that reduces wind and rain exposure up the back while orienting the front close to the chin and cheeks. The jacket also sports an air flow ventilation system with zippered vents at the underarm, back and sides for all-day comfort. The outer shell acts as a rain jacket and the cosy fleece liner can be worn on its own on warmer days.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Jacket-Terribly Cheap Zippers I bought this jacket three years ago. I wanted a jacket that would last. Unfortunately the zippers are very cheap. A pocket zipper broke in year two and the main zipper just broke when I put it on a few days ago during a rain storm. If they could supply a good zipper this would be a great winter jacket. It was warm, waterproof and did the job. To fix the zippers will cost about half the price of the jacket. Won't be buying Viking again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great rain jacket.... but stays damp :-( I have been wearing this jacket for a little over a month now. Overall I am quite happy. The construction of the shell seems very robust. I was frustrated early on by the weak snaps that help to keep the inner liner attached to the shell - EVERY time I pull my arms out of the sleeves the snaps let go, failing to keep the arms inside the sleeves. So annoying! Have to remember to hang on to the cuffs each time I pull my arm out. I have also had to repair the cuffs of the liner as the hem has come undone. I am terrible at sewing, so was not impressed. Another thing I have recently discovered is that the jacket stays damp. If you do a lot of physical work, even with the vents open, the condensation will collect on the inside of the shell, and soak into the liner. The jacket will not dry out unless you remove the liner from the shell and hang overnight. I had to put the shell in the dryer this morning before I went to work as it was still not dry .... so while it is a very decent jacket, it can also be somewhat annoying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best warm Jacket I ever had. I Purchased this exact jacket 15 years ago and it finally started to show signs of wear. I found the same jacket when I checked Marks on the internet. The same one all-be-it a few new feature but still the same warm comfortable jacket. I'm now good for another 15 years. Best jacket I have ever bought!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm and great for work We purchased this jacket about 7 years ago for our employees and continue to purchase them every year. It is a great warm work jacket especially with the 2 layers that can be taken apart to use in Spring or Fall as well as winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2nd purchase of this product. I bought the preceding jacket to this one 15+ yrs ago. I am a volunteer Track Marshal on weekends (like a Fireman) at car race tracks. I take care of my clothes but this jacket got abused. In life and death situations I'm not thinking about taking care of my clothes. I never tried to abuse the jacket; it's just a rough, wet, dirty, both hot and freezing environment that requires robust clothing. The material wore through where the sleeve meets the cuff but it took over 15 yrs of hard usage to do it - amazing! This has even more features than its predecessor, they did a great job with the upgrades. I use Viking rain pants and my winter jacket is a 3-in-1 Viking Professional jacket. This is by far the absolute best value for the money. I have owned hiking, mountain climbing and ocean sailing clothing some costing (literally) up to 5 times the cost of this jacket and they haven't performed as well.
