Warm, Comfortable and Really Good Traction !!
My previous neoprene rubber boots (top name brand) were cold, not really comfortable and were pretty slippery on mud, snow and ice. I have had these boots for only a week but in my limited use, I find them GREAT !! They are warm ... had them on doing farm chores for two hours at -15 C with my regular socks and my feet were warm. They are nice and cushy so they are comfortable. And the traction on snow and ice is really good. This is my 4th pair of "slip resistant" winter footwear (2 pairs of winter boot + one going to town winter hikers"). If you don't own a pair of "slip resistant" footwear yet ... you really should try some, as they do a great job in preventing slips and falls. I normally take a 9 in a rubber boot, but took a 10 in these boots.

Walmart Boots Last Longer
The boots worked really well and are a lot warmer than they look. They seemed to have a sturdy construction but failed to last through one winter in Ottawa. I am not sure how long this rip has been here but it sure was noticeable once the snow started to melt. Its not along a seem or anything so I don't believe its a failing of the make up of the boot. Just not quality material it seems.
As the title says, I've had boots from Walmart last longer than this boot.
