Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not waterproof after limited use Very comfortable, warm and light boo BUT after after using them for snowmobiling maybe 15 times the waterproofness has disappeared and now I get wet feet every time. Took them back to Marks, all they could recommend is to apply waterproof spray. For a $200 boot, I expected a little more from a boot described as waterproof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very light weight, yet extremely warm. These boots are simply the best boot I have ever own. They are light weight, yet extremely warm. I believe that it’s rated for -50 which far colder weather then what we experience in Northern Alberta. They have excellent grip on icy surfaces. Although my feet stay nice and warm, they don’t get wet from either the environment or perspiration. Excellent purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow I never knew what warm feet felt like. I worn these on a recent trip to the arctic. They were wonderful. Comfortable and warm. Temps were -50ish, and I wasn't worried at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good boots I've worn these almost every day through 4 winters. So far only minimal wear to the liner and the outer layer that wraps around the toe and sides. Still nice and stiff and the grip is still in good shape. Pretty light for their size and nice to walk in. Half sizes would be nice though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice boots Extremely light weight, unbelievable warm and most important of all is the super comfort on your feet. Pain in my knees and hips go away wearing these boots. Perfect!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot for the outdoors I bought these to go ice fishing. I have long walks to my spots so I needed something light, warm and with good traction. This boot is awesome for all of the above. Bought them at half price on sale which was simply an amazing deal. Please note though that the sizes for these boots do not reflect your shoes sizes. More precisely, I wear a 10-10.5 but with these boots the size 12 is barely big enough. Its not a con, but be aware if you buy them on line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable These boots are not only comfortable they keep your feet warm. I was out for an hour clearing the driveway and sidewalk in -15°C and there wasn't any change at all in the warmth of my feet. Now I just have to wear better gloves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm through a Yukon winter I used these for a winter of field work in the Yukon, and my feet were warm while snowshoeing and while on a snowmobile at -30, and they were comfortable enough to wear while hiking all day. There were just a couple features that I've seen on other WindRiver boots that I would've liked to see on these: the T-max aerogel insole (basically a layer of dense foam on the bottom of the liner) and snowboard boot-style laces that you can tighten by turning a knob so you don't have to take off your mittens. That being said, I'm still very happy with my purchase! They do run a bit short, so I had to go up a size.
