Hold the pants very well, and have never detached or slipped. My issue with them is the clips have sharp edges that grabs on the shirt material and can poke holes if you are not careful. I have damaged two t-shirts so far.

These are actually inferior to the Denver Hayes suspenders as they are good 3-4 inches shorter than the DH brand and as I am 6' 2" they are not made for the average North American male

Clips that attach to pants have been modified by attaching a small plastic gripper to the metal clip. This leaves the redundant teeth sticking out. When you "tuck in" said teeth can and did rip the skin off my forearm. Bad design !!!
