I work in snow removal in canada.
I just spent 9 hours in the cold ussually for an hour straight at a time (small breaks in the truck of less then 5 mins between sites) . I didn't wear any under layer with these gloves and my hands stayed withing a very comfortable temperature range the whole day. I started my first site with hand warmers in the mitts seeing as it was -30 and had to pull them out in a matter of minutes because my hands got too hot... in -30 Celsius haha.
I also use a very powerful blower to clear the snow, so I get covered in snow, and hit with lots of extra wind chill all day.
Just simply shaking my hand free of any snow before hoping back in the warm truck prevented them from even getting damp.
I also used them in -5 and my hands didn't get too warm. So they should work all season long. Fingers crossed.
The one finger allows me to fuel up small machines, make mixed fuel, and start all my machines even hitting the hard to reach primer bulb on the blower without taking the gloves off.
I usually burn through a few pairs of ski gloves a year due to the gasoline and salt exposure.
If these are as durable as the last leather ones I got. I will be buying a pair for all of my salary guys next year.
I highly recommend these gloves.

Warm Work Mitts

Fits well, happy they come in a medium. I use them at work for chainsaw use. The 3 finger mitt is a game changer for keeping my hand warm in cold temps. Cuff keeps snow out. Not waterproof unfortunately.

Objective review of gloves

They are warm and comfortable. They do not do so great in wet snow or are particularly waterproof. I have been adding some waterproofing beeswax based cream which seems to help.
I would give this a 4 because the waterproof thing but since the other reviews dislike the in-store service and sizing; I just don't think that is a good reflection of their quality. Mine are size large and my hands are a large. To be honest I am probably going to buy a pair or two more at this price.
Try before you buy, but I like them.

Way too small
a year ago
I ordered these for my husband in an XL which is the size he usually wears. After reading reviews from 10 months ago with the same complaint and customer service responding that they'd deal with the situation, I thought I was safe in getting them. These XL finger mitts fit me and I wear a 7.5 in women's. They are beautiful mitts but the sizing is way off.
