Sized larger than other underwear of this brand

I was disappointed in a few things when I received these underwear. But first I must say that the cotton material is very soft and of good quality, so is the stitching. On the other hand I have other style Denver Hayes underwear and size medium fits me perfectly after one wash...these are definitely made quite a bit larger, so much too loose for my liking, I would have been better with a size small...unfortunately now that I washed them I cannot return them. The other disappointment was that the crotch is exactly the narrow width of regular panties and does not go down the inner thigh at all, as pictured in the advertisement. So they will be living at the back of my drawer as spares.
