Comfy but can’t withstand the heat

Very disappointed. Bought these at my local Sportchek and wore them a few times and loved them! Forgot them in my trunk one hot and day and they shrunk about two sizes. Not able to wear them now. I feel like for the price they shouldn’t “melt” in the heat, considering they’re sandals.
