They're insulated with lightweight Thinsulate and protected with a water-resistant barrier. These gloves are great. They ain't the biggest gloves, but they seem to stretch a bit with some wear. The XL are just barely big enough for me. These are the warmest gloves I have ever worn and seem to be waterproof or at least water resistant.

Well Insulated and Waterproof! Excellent gloves

I have been using these gloves for hard outdoor work in the winter in wet and cold conditions for the past 4 years. I get a new pair at the beginning of every fall season and they usually last for the entire winter into spring. They are quite stiff when you first put them on, but after a few sessions they wear in very nicely. I write on paper with them on with decent dexterity. My entire department relies on these. What puts these above other winter gloves I've used is that they stay waterproof and keep your hands warm even when the outer shell is wet. I can't recommend them enough.

Not tan like the photo, more like gray/white

The colour of these gloves in real life is totally different than what is shown in the product image. I went into the store to check for best sizing and couldn't find them for the life of me until I realized they were radically different in colour.
Regardless, like the rest of the reviews here, these gloves are top notch.

These gloves are very warm in very cold conditions. They hold up well, and don’t tighten up when they get moisture on them. I would definitely purchase them again.

Good for Road Service Techs

Good gloves for winter, I buy a new pair every year due to destroying them with grease and grime. Never had a hole or stitch break. Avoiding soaking them with water. Dexterity isn’t amazing but it works for most things unless you have to hold small nuts but even then you can get the hang of it.
