It's easier to enjoy outdoor activities in the middle of winter in the Baffin Control Max boots from the brand's Epic Series. These waterproof leather boots are cold weather rated to minus 70 degrees Celsius. They have insulated nylon linings as well as an eight-layer removable boot system with waffle-comb insoles. The men's winter boots feature Baffin's Polar Base with Arctic™ rubber shells, EVA midsoles and Polar® rubber outsoles. The D-ring lace fastening system allows you to snug the boot securely for extended comfort.

I have been using some clunky big pac boots for 10+ years. They were heavy, didn't keep my feet super warm, and were bulkier than they should have been for their performance.
I chose these boots for their Arctic (-45C) rating. They fit amazing using my standard shoe size. Very light and comfortable, and they are less bulky as well. 100% would buy again.

Maybe the best boots I've ever owned!!

I really wanted a winter boot that could handle snow, cold and wet without looking like a heavy industrial boot. Baffin was my go-to after being very disappointed with other brands recently. I looked through all of Baffin's line-up which basically are the best boots out there, and found these.
I was ordering online so I wasn't sure how these were going to fit. It's the first time I've ever tried Baffin and I have a bit of a wide foot but I followed the fit guide and they fit perfectly!! If I understand correctly, the materials they use for the liner will form to your feet after a few wears so that will be great if they do, but they're nice and snug without being tight even if they don't.
The quality and craftsmanship seems very good - we'll see over time. Excellent features like a pull out liner, a loop on the vamp (top of the foot) for gaiters, triple stitching where the leather upper meets the rubber lower part, tongue attached to the body of the boot to prevent snow from getting in, a great tread for traction, and even small reflective strips on the back for some added safety and visibility at night!
I'm very much hoping that these boots come to be the best boots I've ever owned, and initial indications are that they might be!

High quality very warm winter boots

Really good boots for cold weather and snow, they are a bit on the bulky side and make driving difficult but that is expected. They do fit on the snug side with all the insulation but I found the size is true (my size 10 boot fits like a size 10).
