Good boots for outdoor activities

I purchased these boots for biking during winter season and so far I have no complaints. Only wetness is from sweating. Pair them with gators and you will enjoy them even at -30 degrees.

I've owned big Baffin Island snow boots since 1998. I've always wanted more since they last significantly longer than anything else. I still have them and now I have some of the 'Zone'. They are super comfortable and the warmth is top notch.

Excellent winter hiker

This is the first pair of Baffin winter boots I’ve owned and I’m impressed with the fit and feel of this boot. Traction in snow is great and at 200g of insulation just the right amount of warmth for a walk through the woods. My last pair of boots were Merrell’s which I”ve had for 7 years are great( not much tread left) but the new Merrells were very uncomfortable so I sent them back. Hope to get as much use out of these new Baffins.

Excellent boots for hiking

Great boots. Excellent grip on ice and snow. Nice and warm down to -20C while active and they also breath well so your feet don’t overheat at -10C. Excellent ankle support for hiking. Very comfortable. I took them on a 5km walk right out of the box and they did not need any break in. I did find they fit a bit small. I usually size up 1 size for winter boots and have wide feet but had to size up 2 sizes to get the right fit. I also found the laces too long but that is an easy fix.

A: Hello - These boots would be considered between a D (regular) and E (wide) width. With regards to orthotics, they would support a normal orthotic not a very thick orthotic. - Victoria
