[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knapsack replaced one that I had for over 30 years! This was has so many better features. It has a larger capacity, many more pockets, and so much more! I may, in the future buy a second one, in a different color (of course!)

Looks Aren't Everything

I have the old version of this bag, the one with the logo in the middle of the main panel. I've had it for about 2 years, and the bottom of the bag has started to rip at the seam connecting the bottom panel and the panel that faces your back. I would've expected this bag to last longer as my previous Jansport had lasted well over 5 years and was only replaced as I had moved to a more rainy climate, so I wanted a similar bag with a water repellent. The inside of the bag also started to peel, what I assume are the interior panels that make it water repellent, so that feature didn't last too long either. I love Carhartt, but this bag left me with much to wish for. I know this is a newer, updated model of the same bag, but I've heard of similar issues with this version and other Carhartt bags like the 25L laptop bag as well.
